The Sonora High School boys varsity cross country team has two members headed to the state meet scheduled for next weekend.

Sophomore Clayton Franco and freshman Adin Dibble each earned a spot in the CIF State Championship meet held at Woodward Park in Fresno.

Franco placed eighth in Division 4 with a 16:51.3

Dibble was tenth with a time of 16:58.3

The Wildcats team placed seventh overall in their division.

Also competing for the ‘Cats were sophomore Adam Aldrich, sophomore Kyle Smith, junior Brian McGee and senior Kiernan Kostlivy.
