Calaveras wasn’t short on momentum after an offensive blowout in Week 5. They took care of Bradshaw Christian 57-7 at home for their first win of the season.
Friday night they kept it going with Calaveras’ Clayton Moore scoring the first touchdown in the first quarter with a lengthy rushing play.
That would be their only score of the first half and they took a 7-6 lead into the half.
Johnny Lozano added another touchdown in the third quarter for a 14-6 lead.
And in the fourth, John Arbuckle sealed the win with a rushing touchdown, giving Calaveras their second win of the season, 21-6.
Next up for the team is the start of Mother Lode League play.
They’ll host Amador High School Friday night at 7 p.m.
