The Sonora Wildcats varsity football team traveled to Calaveras High School in San Andreas and outscored the hosts 64-22 on Frank Meyer Field to go up 4-3 on the season and remain undefeated in the Mother Lode League after two games.

Calaveras falls to 1-5 on the season and 0-2 in the Mother Lode League before hosting the Amador Buffaloes from Sutter Creek this coming Friday.

The Wildcats have a bye week before hosting Argonaut High School from Jackson at Dunlavy Field on Oct. 22 and close out the season at home against cross-county rival the Summerville Bears.
