Sonora area gymnastics who train at American Sports Acro and Gymnastics competed in their first meet of the season in January and placed in several events.

Bronze Team consists of all new members and brought home a team second place win. Competing in the JrA division was Callee Weaver, 7, with first places on bars, beam, floor and the all around. Also competing in the JrA division were Jersey Molzen, 6, and Georgia Skellenger, 8. Molzen received a first on vault and a second on bars. Skellenger won second on vault, third on bars, and third in the all around.

Ten-year-old Lily Legras competed in the SrA division and earned first place on vault, and third place finishes bars, floor, and the all around.

Competing in the JrB division were Camryn Smith, 9, and Aubrey Ray, 8. Smith earned second on the floor and the all around, and Ray fifth places on vault, bars, and floor.

This was the inaugural meet for the Silver Team. Competing in the JrA division were Zoe Kjaer, 8, and Athena Flores, 8. Kjaer took home sixth places on bars and beam and fifths on floor and the all around. Flores earned a sixth on the floor.

Competing in the JrB division was Zahara Bisset, 10. She won second on her beam routine.

Katie Jaggers, 12, competed in the SrA division and won third on vault, second on floor, and third in the all around.

The Gold Team consists of all veteran team members. Competing in the JrA division was Natalie Walker, 9, and Adyson Kroeze, 10. Walker had second on beam and thirds on bars, floor, and the all around. Kroeze earned a sixth on vault and fifth on floor.

Competing in the JrB division were Taylee McDaniel, 12, and Zoe Miller, 12. Both competed on the uneven bars with McDaniel winning third and Miller winning seveth.

The Platinum Team is made up of veteran competitors for ASAG. Teagan Spangler, 14, and Lauren Tangenberg, 12, have been on the team since it began five years ago. Mia Kjaer, 12, has competed on the team for four years and Kenidee Ballard, 13, for three. This small platinum team brought home a team third place win.

Competing in the Younger Division were Kjaer, Ballard, and Tangenberg. Kjaer won seconds on bars, beam, and the all around. Ballard earned a first on vault, and a third on beam. Tangenberg flipped to a third on floor. Spangler competed in the Middle Division and earned a fourth on beam.
