Steady play from Calaveras gave the team the road win as they handed Amador their first loss of the season.
Calaveras scored in all four quarters Friday night, taking an early first quarter lead of eight after Zeke Martinez caught a pass for the two-point conversion.
Despite a late fourth quarter surge from Amador - they scored 13 to Calaveras’ 7 - Calaveras hung on to move their record to 3-3 overall and 1-0 in league play.
Calaveras heads to Summerville High School next Friday. The game starts at 7 p.m.
