The Bullfrogs were on the road at Eldorado High School in Placerville Friday night looking to improve on their 1-2 record.

The Cougars were on a three-loss skid as the ‘Frogs put the first points on the board - three in the first.

El Dorado answered with a touchdown in the second quarter.

Bret Harte took the lead with six points in the third quarter. But El Dorado added eight points in the fourth.

The ‘Frogs’ senior quarterback Ryan Kraft scrambled for a touchdown to retake the lead 16-15. But the Cougars scored quickly, moving the score to 21-16. And that’s how the game would end.

The ‘Frogs are now 1-2.

Next up for the ‘Frogs is a bye week. Then they’ll face Linden on the road Friday, Sept. 21. The game starts at 7 p.m. and it’s the Lions’ homecoming.
