Sonora's frosh boys basketball claim league title

The Sonora High School freshman boys basketball team claimed their fourth consecutive championship with a 73-50 win over Summerville.

Mario Renda led the team on scoring with 22 points. Tyler Tipton had 12 points and Brayden Garrett had 10 points. Also scoring for the ‘Cats was Kade Bankston who had two clutch three-pointers and eight points.

The team went 9-1 in the regular season.

The Wildcats are now 39-3 in league play over the past four seasons.

The 2017-18 roster included the following players:
