God’s words are true

To the Editor:

Acts 1:9-11 — “Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

Jesus is coming again are you ready?

Why do you linger? Take action. Wholeheartedly repent of your sins, ask for God’s forgiveness.

Accept Him as your Lord and Savior, and follow after Him. There are two choices, one is everlasting life, the other is death. Only you can choose. Just being a good person will not save you. The only way to be saved is to surrender your life and heart to Jesus, there is no other way.

Awake, Awake!

Oh Tuolumne County for the one true living God will return for those who follow Him and His commandments. This is not a fairytale, this is real and each of you must choose life eternal, or eternal condemnation. God loves you. He sent His son to die for you and He rose again to set you free from this world and all that will destroy you choose to surrender to Jesus and repent. Do not delay for we do not know the hour, or day when Jesus will return. He is calling to you, wanting you to be saved so that you may truly live. God’s words are true hear them. I hope you will.

Vote Trump out

To the Editor:

Twenty different Democratic presidential candidates are debating very relevant American concerns:

Reduced health care costs;

Eliminating multiple, profit-driven, middle-man insurance co’s. excluding sick people;

Increasing Wages;

Affordable college education;

Relief from crippling educational debt;

Expanding solar-electric transportation;

Reducing America’s dependence on Petroleum and it’s denial of air pollution, global warming, increased severe weather & Natural Disaster costs to local, state & federal economies.

While Trump, continues to promote racism; defends Russia (and Russian cyber criminals who got him elected in 2016); and continues to deny petroleum’s air pollution, global warming impacts of rapidly melting Antarctic glaciers, and the potential ‘economic collapse’ of America’s coastal communities, from rising sea levels.

Because... Petroleum and Russia are Trump’s funding sources.

It’s obvious. Americans needs a Democratic president in 2020 who cares about America.

While, Russia, the petroleum Industry, and white supremacist mass-murderers, want Trump in 2020

Constitutional Carry Rally

To the Editor:

There is never an excuse to deny people the exercise of enumerated rights. The crazy murderer in Gilroy, purchased his weapon legally and cut the fence to avoid detection to make his entry into a gun-free zone. After which the law-abiding people inside the kill zone became targets. The police response was courageous and it was fast, but not fast enough to save those people. Disarming civilian sheepdogs does not mean the wolves stop being wolves. You are responsible for your own defense! A tall order when you have been disarmed by the very government that you established to protect your liberty!

What was the moment, what event occurred that told the state it was time to disarm Californians? What happened to cause the denial of a God-given, pre-governmental right at the hands of our masters in Sacramento? I’ll wager that they will claim it is more important to maintain order, (ie: control) than it is for you to exercise the right to defend yourselves, your families, and communities from evil or tyranny.

Baird v Becerra will challenge the state’s unconstitutional ban on open carry that the Supreme Court ruled in Young v Hawaii was our Constitutional right. California needs to be compelled to follow this ruling-35 states already do.

Stand with us at the Constitutional Carry Rally on Sept. 6 at 9 a.m., 501 I Street, Sacramento. It matters that we stand.

Tasteful and Responsible

To the Editor:

As I read one of the letters in the July 31 Union Democrat, it occurred to me that the editor must have an odd interpretation of the words “tasteful and responsible.” (Refer to the “Letters Invited” paragraph at the foot of the Letters page.)

To equate our local radio station with a anti-Semitic monster largely responsible for the murder of millions of people is neither tasteful nor responsible. Or, for that matter, accurate.

Neither is it tasteful or responsible, or accurate, to brand our president and representative as racist members of the Ku Klux Klan. That’s just name-calling, hate-filled inflammatory rhetoric.

This is the type of rhetoric that can result in violence on our streets. “Responsible?”

I’m not taking issue with him; he’s free (in this country) to have his opinions. I am, though, very disappointed in you, Union Democrat, for publishing an incendiary letter that clearly lacks the qualities of “tasteful and responsible.”

Now surprise me, and publish this letter.
