The truth will make you free

To the Editor:

Once again, we have a recognized letter writer and public person appearing with a letter in The Union Democrat, in which he hopes to give undeserved credit to a former administration rather than where it belongs.

“Be certain, the truth will find you out.” Too bad the letter writer could not have looked on the page opposite his published letter on the day it showed up.

That’s right. His untruth was exposed, by none other than the Associated Press. Headlined: Jobless rates fall in 12 states and hit record lows in three.

Actually, the 12 states are Alabama, Hawaii, Maine, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington with California, Colorado, Idaho, North Dakota and Oregon revealing record lows.

With such a past record of untruth, why should we give credence to his other “chest-beating claims”? He gives credit and praise where none is due.

The truth deserves your investigating the actuality of his other claims, they are: wages, education, tax reform, health care, (the last two which are still in process) and your bottom line. He seeks to castigate anything that our president does and shows such hatred of Tom McClintock that it is laughable.

It must be comforting to know that he is in the company of the DNC, and other professional liars such as Hillary, Schumer, Pelosi and other constant criticizers.

God bless President Trump, God bless Vice-president Pence, and God bless America.
