With sadness, the family of Linda Briato wishes to announce her passing at the age of 67, on June 3, 2019, after a year-long battle with cancer.

Lynn was born to Walter and Helen Birr in Vancouver, Washington. From an early age Lynn was a caregiver. She helped raise two of her five siblings after the early death of her parents. She graduated from nursing school in 1972 and worked in the nursing field throughout her life.

Lynn lost her first husband, Fred, after only seven years of marriage. She was adventurous, enjoying horseback riding, water skiing, ocean fishing and motorcycling. She was also just as comfortable splitting wood as preparing a gourmet meal. Lynn loved bringing people together through the many dinner parties she and her second husband, Frankie, hosted. She was a very caring person, always ready to help neighbors, family or friends in whatever way was needed.

Lynn had a green thumb with fruits, vegetables and her back deck adorned with flowers, alive with color. After several years of retirement, Lynn returned to her love of nursing in the area of homecare for special needs persons, primarily children.

She will be missed dearly by her husband of 30 years, Frankie, along with four stepchildren, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, her remaining siblings and many friends. Lynn loved the Lord Jesus and the ocean; we are sure her mansion in heaven has an ocean view.
