Steve loved driving trucks and big rigs; the bigger, the better. He was a simple, easy-going guy with such passion for playing music, which came effortlessly for him. He loved playing guitar, violin and piano. He used his gifts to worship the Lord with his beautiful voice. He loved the outdoors, surrounded by God's wonders, hiking, camping, and if there was water, he was in it.

Steve loved his family and friends beyond words. He loved people and talking to everyone. He could start up a conversation with someone he didn’t know with such ease. His heart just came through every time. Steve shone so brightly with the love he had for the Lord and would share his love of God with everyone. Steve was a man who loved the Lord.

Steve is survived by his wife of 13 years, Sheila Acquaviva; three children, Nathan Acquaviva (Jessica) of Ceres, Miriam Acquaviva of Sonora, and Eric Acquaviva of Jamestown; four stepchildren, Shannon Diaz (Javier) and Breena Rains, both of Sonora, Ashley Olson (Brandon) and Tricia McClure (David) all of Michigan; grandchildren, Katelyn Acqauaviva and Vincent Acquaviva of Ceres and River Avery of Sonora; stepgrandchildren, Ayla Diaz, Tanner Diaz and Cora Williams, all of Sonora, Cole Olson, Haylen Olson, Camden Olson, Crew Olson, Nevaeh McClure, Cullen McClure and Madden McClure, all of Michigan; and his sister, Debbie Acquaviva of Claremont.
