Lifelong Tuolumne County resident, Mona Mary Radovich passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 14, 2019, at the age of 86. Mona was born April 13, 1932, in Tuolumne to George and Jenny Keddy.
Mona worked as Tuolumne County elections supervisor for over 25 years. She was raised in the Westside Logging Camps, which sparked her passion for camping and the backcountry. She loved her family and had monthly gatherings. She had such a big heart that raised kids that were not her own, she would always have enough dinner because she was never sure who her children may bring home. She enjoyed going to the casino, her gardens and birds. Mona was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.
Mona is survived by her three children, Terri Radovich of Sonora, Randy ( Doreen) Radovich of La Grange, and Clay (Cherie) Radovich of Jamestown; six grandchildren, Jenny Riedel, Haley Hirdes, Joe Radovich, Jake Radovich, Zak Radovich, and Sara Andrews and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Jenny Keddy in 1961 and 1988; her husband of 56 years, Archie Radovich in 2008; granddaughter, Jamie Radovich in 1989.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home, 225 Rose St, Sonora, CA 95370. Donations can be make to the Parkinson Research Foundation, 5969 Cattleridge Blvd., Suite 100, Sarasota, Florida 34232.
