Gordon Mogg passed away Nov. 24, 2018, at his home in Jamestown. Born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, Gordon emigrated with his family to the U.S. in 1960 and was a resident of Tuolumne County for 42 years. He and his wife of 35 years, Irene Pimentel Mogg, lived in the Sonora-Jamestown area.

Gordon was a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers’ International Association and Local Union 104 for over 50 years. He loved to build and tinker at home and had an entrepreneurial spirit.

Gordon is survived by his children, Rick (Ann) Mogg, Suzanne Rodgers; stepsons, Lawrence (Martha) Serpa Jr., David (Joey) Serpa, Jim (Kathy) Serpa; grandchildren, Ryan, Kate, Lissa, Kelly; stepgrandchildren Becky, Anna, Scott, Mark, Ashley, Justin, Mark, Jimmy, David, Jennifer, Lorne, and Mike; and his sister Doris.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene; son, Donald Mogg, and stepdaughter, Kathleen Taylor.

He will be laid to rest with his wife in Watsonville.
