A Sonora woman suspected of being involved in a murder-for-hire plot was arrested Friday evening, according to the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office stated that a tip from the FBI and subsequent investigation led to a search warrant for the woman’s home, after which she was taken into custody.
Heidi Butler, 38, was booked into Tuolumne County Jail on suspicion of solicitation to commit murder, a felony.
This is a developing story. See Tuesday’s Union Democrat for more information.
