The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

 

TUESDAY

3:07 a.m., Controlled substances — A man was breaking windows and biting himself on South Washington Street.

10:48 a.m., Animal complaints — Two aggressive acting dogs were in front of a residence on North Arbona Circle and would not allow a man to enter the residence.

6:51 p.m., Controlled substances — A large group of juveniles were on a baseball field on Woods Creek Drive and the smell of marijuana was reported.

7:32 p.m., Public intoxication — A man was talking to bushes on South Washington Street.

7:39 p.m., Hazardous situation — Someone on a hill at Snell and School streets was throwing rocks and dirt at passing vehicles.

TUOLUMNE COUNTY

 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

2:11 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman at a business on Tuolumne Road refused to leave when asked.

8:46 a.m. Columbia — A man on Big Hill Road who said his name was Ruben wanted a ride to a casino.

2:31 p.m., Sonora — A gas pump on Mono Way was malfunctioning and a caller fears it would catch fire.

3:02 p.m., Sonora — A man stopped at a bus stop on Mono Way and tried to talk to a 13-year-old girl.

TUESDAY

Driving under the influence of alcohol

11:20, Columbia — Tucker Ray Knight, 24, 23200 block Italian Bar Road, was booked  after an arrest on Parrotts Ferry Road.

 

Felony

7:28 a.m., Sonora — Jose Frank Lopex, 43, 2500 block Haddon Avenue, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of conspiracy to commit and crime and misdemeanor receiving stolen property after an arrest on Lower Shale Rock.

9:35 a.m., Sonora —Ruben Amazon DeLeon,  46, 500 block Locust St., Modesto, was booked on suspicion of transporting/selling a controlled substance, controlled substance for sale, after an arrest on Big Hill Road.

10 p.m., Sonora — Zachary Logan Rehder, 39, 19800 block Cedar Road, was booked on suspicion of contact with a minor with intent to commit sexual offense after an arrest on Knowles Hill Drive. 

 

CALAVERAS COUNTY

TUESDAY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

7:47 a.m., Valley Springs — A door was open on Honey Lane.

10:38 a.m., Valley Springs — Kids argued on Double Springs Road. 

11:32 a.m., Arnold — A backpack was taken on Highway 4.

12:27 p.m., Murphys — A shed was broken into on South Algiers Street.

Booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol

4:08 p.m., Valley Springs — Patrick O’Connell, 77, 2100 block Grouse Drive, after an arrest on Vista Del Lago Drive.

 

Felony

10:40 a.m., West Point —Donovan Herbert Albrecht, 45, 500 block Smitty Lane, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft and prevent/dissuade witness/victim by threat/force after an arrest on Smith Lane.
