Cannabis was a topic that showed perhaps the starkest differences among candidates for the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors who participated in a well-attended public forum Thursday night presented by the League of Women Voters of the Mother Lode.

About 300 people packed into the Sonora Opera Hall for the event that featured the contenders for Districts 1, 4 and 5 in the March 3 primary election, with Columbia College President Santanu Bandyopadhyay serving as the moderator.
