Sonora Police Department reported the following:

9:25 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man caused damage at Coffill Park.

2:34 p.m., parking citation — Someone was cited for parking in police parking only spot.

8:15 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A car missing half its windshield had a note on the window that said, “will be back asap, please don’t tow.”



The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

2:28 a.m., Jamestown — A man jiggled the handle of a door to a house on Pin Oak Court and checked windows, but ran away when the resident shone a flashlight at him.

4:39 a.m., Sonora — A resident on Sparrow Lane said, “Vagrants are making noise and taking cans out of the trash bins.”

6:24 a.m., Sonora — A man parked his RV on property where he was working but when the work was done he refused to leave.

8:36 a.m., Tuolumne — A man said people were living in an abandoned theater and pool hall on Main Street and one had set up a tent.

9:39 a.m., Sonora — A wallet, phone and prescription sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle on Fallview Drive.

9:52 a.m., Sonora — A driver said they were run off Phoenix Lake Road by someone moving a modular home.

11:04 a.m., Sonora — Someone stole three cord of wood from a property on Highway 49.

3:37 p.m., La Grange — Fraudulent charges were made on a credit card belonging to a Enramada Drive resident.

6:46 p.m., Tuolumne — A man chased a woman with a flashlight out of his Yosemite Road yard and then she looked in vehicles.

7:04 a.m., Jamestown — A man was running in and out of traffic on Highway 108.

7:40 a.m., Jamestown — A man said his neighbor put a lock on his gate, locking him in.

8:14 a.m., Sonora — A man was at the gas pump selling Raiders attire.

8:22 a.m. Chinese Camp — An air compressor and other items were taken from a Shawmut Road address.

2:27 p.m., Jamestown — Someone was living without permission in a travel trailer at a Victoria Place address.

5:05 p.m., Sonora — Someone called 911 wanting to turn themselves in for doing meth.

5:16 p.m., Sonora — A man thought his wife was in danger at a Sunshine Road address.

7:18 p.m., sonora — A woman lost her green card at a Mono Way shopping center.

9:15 a.m., West Point — Johnny Tu, 51, 9000 block Whiskey Slide Road, Mountain Ranch, was booked on suspicion of planting marijuana, rent/sell controlled substance, possessing marijuana for sale, and conspiracy to commit crime after an arrest on Hidden Valley Road.

2 p.m., West Point — Zackary Elliott Cockerton, 300 block Lakeview Drive, Jackson, was booked on suspicion of cultivating more than six plants of marijuana, after an arrest on Bald Mountain Road.
