TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

4:13 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A person at a Stockton Road hotel heard people running around for three hours, yelling and slamming doors.

10:40 a.m., theft — A person on North Forest Road said her phone and wallet were stolen from her unlocked vehicle sometime in the night.

2:58 p.m., traffic accidents — A person on North Washington Street said a canvas bag full of limited edition books and school supplies were stolen from them.

3:36 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An unknown person hit a golf ball and it bounced off the pavement and hit an ambulance on Truckenmiller Road. While a security guard and the caller checked the area for who might be responsible, they said they found a “a small grave on top of the hill.”

7:52 p.m., reckless driving — A person on Greenley Road said they saw a man driving with an open bottle of alcohol and he appeared to be intoxicated .

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

12:46 a.m., Sonora — A person on Bay Meadow Drive said her daughter was messing with her “internet stuff” and she would call back if law enforcement was needed.

7:27 a.m., Long Barn — A transient camp set up on Highway 108 had a fire ring, nylon rope and electrical wiring attached to metal rods in the ground.

1:29 p.m., Sonora — A Lower Hillview Drive resident said they were concerned because they said they had security camera footage of people unloading “high dollar equipment” such as vehicles.

8:22 p.m., Strawberry — A man walked on Meadowview Drive carrying what appeared to be a burning log.

11:14 p.m., Groveland — A person on Mills Street said someone was hitting or shooting their windows.

THURSDAY

1:30 p.m., Sonora — Cody Duane Whitmire, 55, of the 16100 block of Big Hill Road, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and additional misdemeanor charges driving while his license was suspended for DUI following an arrest on Phoenix Lake Road.

11:37 p.m., La Grange — Sharon Anderson, 53, of the 15400 block of Buttercup Lane, was booked following an arrest on La Grange Road.

10:09 p.m., Groveland — Louette Helen Quesnoy, 63, of the 22400 block of Ferretti Road, was booked on suspicion of damaging a telephone or power line and misdemeanor charges battery following an arrest at her home.

11:43 p.m., Sonora — Michael Wayne Bryant, 39, of the first block of Leann Street, Nashua, New Hampshire, was booked on suspicion of possession of a concealed weapon and misdemeanor charges possession of controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription following an arrest on Sanguinetti Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

8:22 a.m., Wilseyville — A person on North Railroad Flat Road was booked on out of county warrants.

9:52 a.m., Railroad Flat — People on Black Oak Drive were involved in civil landlord-tenant issues.

12:03 p.m., Murphys — A person on Main Street was cited for leaving a dog in a hot car.

5:04 p.m., Murphys — A motorhome on French Gulch Road was broken into.

9:56 p.m., Angels Camp — A person on South Main Street believed she heard footsteps on the roof of her trailer.

11:59 p.m., Angels Camp — Jose Rolando Orellana, 52, of the 2000 block of Stallion Way, was booked following an arrest on Highway 4.

2:30 p.m., San Andreas — Ryan J. Utterback, 31, of the first block of Longman Lane, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft, receiving known stolen property and misdemeanor charges vandalism, trespassing and a traffic offense following an arrest on Jeff Tuttle Drive

8:08 p.m., San Andreas — Juan Geovanni Zamudio Ortiz, 35, of the 1900 block of Grande Circle, Fairfield, was booked on suspicion of a felony probation violation following an arrest on Jeff Tuttle Drive.
