The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

SATURDAY

2:35 a.m., towed vehicle — Five vehicles were parked in a farmer’s market lot on Theall Street and while four were moved, one was towed.

11:18 a.m., miscellaneous harassment — A man said he was using WiFi in his vehicle while parked outside of a Sanguinetti Road business when a woman he did not know came to his window and accused him of stalking her.

3:06 p.m., controlled substances — A woman who appeared to be under the influence cried and made a scene in the lobby of a Mono Way fast food restaurant.

4:51 p.m., traffic accidents — A woman at an Old Wards Ferry Road business lost her balance leaving her vehicle while it was still in gear, and was run over and dragged by the vehicle. The woman appeared uninjured, told someone not to call for help and then left in the vehicle.

SUNDAY

12:03 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on Summit Avenue heard six or seven gunshots.

9:58 a.m., traffic violations — A person said a man ran through a red light on Mono Way and almost hit his vehicle, but when the man was located later by officers in a downtown bar, he was determined to not be under the influence.

6:12 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Someone heard screaming at a Woods Creek Drive park, but it was determined to be a child who was pinched while a group of people were catching crawdads in the creek.

6:51 p.m., liquor violations — A passenger in a vehicle driving on Mono Way drank a beer.

10:22 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Two men and a woman were on the grass outside of a Rose Street business and shined their vehicle lights on a building.

MONDAY

8:04 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A tire was slashed on a vehicle parked in a Stockton Road parking lot during the night.

10:13 a.m., hazardous situation — A young man rode a motorcycle on Cemetery Lane on private property below a woman’s residence.

1:19 p.m., traffic accidents — A person at a South Washington Street bank said someone hit his vehicle and did not leave a note.

3:08 p.m., fraudulent activities — A South Washington Street gas station received a fraudulent $50 bill from a female customer.

4:04 p.m., driving under the influence — A woman came to visit someone in a Greenley Road hospital while she was under the influence and then left in a vehicle.

4:24 a.m., La Grange — A Bonds Flat road resident believed a large bobcat was outside their house growling and throwing food around.

1:04 p.m., Sonora — A Silver Dawn resident wanted to go back to a residence and pick up her cat, but believed she might violate a restraining order.

2:38 p.m., Sonora — A person in a tent on Cabezut Road was giving out free cell phones in exchange for driver’s licenses, medicare cards and swabs of people’s mouths, which he said was for “cancer research.”

8:15 p.m., Sonora — A person carrying a can on Via Serena appeared to be drunk.

10:43 p.m., Sonora — A person on Stockton Road said they wanted to talk to someone about “proper customer service” because a person from AAA left without jumping his car like they were supposed to.

9:41 a.m., Twain Harte — A Cedar Springs Road resident said their neighbor was videotaping their private backyard deck and windows.

4:31 p.m., Sonora — A person outside of a Standard Road church said big tree limbs were falling in the road.

5:52 p.m., Sonora — A 12-year-old on Trace Road said her mom was smoking marijuana with her sister.

11:05 p.m., Long Barn — A person on Quail Drive said someone started a “big fire” in the area.

12:56 p.m., Sonora — A 10-year-old girl came to a Martin Terrace Court residence and asked to charge her phone.

3:24 p.m., Sonora — A Red Chestnut Lane resident said there were several flashes in her backyard and she believed someone was taking photos of her home.

5:05 p.m., Columbia — A person on Yankee Hill Road said someone was pulling a tractor and knocking down trees.

6:12 p.m., Sonora — A person on Nile River Drive called 911 and said, “you’re a jerk” before hanging up.

10:43 p.m., Twain Harte — A group of teenagers threatened an old woman in the parking lot of a Joaquin Gully Road business.

2:37 a.m., Columbia — A person on Upper Quail Mine Road banged on things since midnight and screamed about someone stealing his water and power.

8:21 a.m., Columbia — A Gold Street North resident said he had “no idea” why his female friend sent him nude pictures of someone and said she was going to post the pictures everywhere unless he did something for her.

11:20 a.m., Tuolumne — A person on Calamity Jane Drive said she paid a handyman $250 to do work, but he never showed up.

3:07 p.m., Sonora — A woman on Mono Way and Hillsdale Drive called 911 multiple times because she wanted to advise agencies on how to fight a fire.

4:10 p.m., La Grange — A person on Avenida Lugo South believed a dead animal was dumped a half-mile from her home because she saw a horn on the ground sticking out of a bag.

11:13 p.m., Columbia — Amanda Sue Orahood, 37, of the 500 block of South Shepherd Street, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence, hit and run with property damage and driving with a license suspended for DUI following an arrest on Parrotts Ferry Road.

9:15 p.m., Sonora — Steven Jeffrey Diaz, 53, transient, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, transporting a controlled substance, committing a felony while out on bail and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest on Stockton Road.

10:06 p.m., Long Barn — Jonathan Charles Morgan, 48, of the 25000 block of Highway 108, was booked on suspicion of felony vandalism following an arrest on the 25000 block of Highway 108.
