The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

11:12 a.m., vandalism, property damage — Someone reported a man with a bicycle wrote graffiti all over a wall on North Washington Street, but it was determined a business owner had provided chalk to write on the wall.

11:38 a.m., lost, found property — A person on Mono Way found a small air compressor on the side of the road and turned it into the police.

1:26 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man sat on rocks on Columbia Way while screaming and talking to himself.

5:16 p.m., trespass/loiter — A person on Mono Way said there was a group of women with signs in front of a store and wanted them to leave.

7:00 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on Sanguinetti Road said a man poured a clear liquid into a cup before going into a store.

SATURDAY

9:50 a.m., parking — An employee of a South Stewart Street business said a vehicle was parked in the loading zone behind their business, but they needed to leave because the business had a furniture delivery on the way.

2:09 p.m., theft — A man pushed a grocery cart filled with items out of a Sanguinetti Road business and loaded them into his car.

8:52 p.m., warrant arrests — A person on Pepperwood Lane said he saw two people with flashlights in the back of the property.

11:11 p.m., pedestrian, vehicle checks — A person riding a bicycle on Mono Way was issued a warning for lack of lighting equipment on their bicycle.

SUNDAY

9:13 a.m., traffic violations — A person on Elk Drive said their neighbor drives too fast up their road.

10:55 a.m., theft — A person on Greenley Road said her ex-boyfriend broke into her house and stole her car battery.

2:26 p.m., theft — Four plants were stolen from a yard on Hope Lane over the past week.

8:52 p.m., theft — A man was arrested at a Stockton Road grocery store on suspicion of walking out the door “with a bunch of meat.”

11:47 p.m., public intoxication — A man was arrested while walking in the drive-thru of a Mono Way fast food restaurant because he was intoxicated and yelling at employees who refused to serve him.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

3:44 a.m., Sonora — A person on Nashua Road said they heard three or four gunshots in the last 10 minutes, but said they “live way out in the country and it could be anywhere.”

2:06 p.m., Tuolumne — Staff at a Tuolumne Road school said a student left her personal email open and they found several photos sent to older men.

11:35 p.m., Sonora — A person on Hillside Drive said there was a party in a big red house and things were being thrown around.

11:57 p.m., Sonora — A truck with headlights on was parked at a Mono Way metal shop and a person believed no one should be there.

SATURDAY

7:39 a.m., Jamestown — A Buckeye Court resident said a man who came to her garage sale was aggressive and threatened the other customers.

1:10 p.m., Jamestown — A pine tree that was 40 inches in diameter fell down across Old Don Pedro Road and La Grange Road.

2:05 p.m., Sonora — A person on Mono Way and Standard Road said a man was bathing in a creek near his house and creating a scene.

10:53 p.m., Sonora — A person on Fallview Drive said there was loud music in the area and a large party.

11:48 p.m., Columbia — A man screamed at the top of his lungs on Parrotts Ferry Road, but someone said they could not make out anything intelligible.

3:13 a.m., Tuolumne — A person on Tuolumne Road North heard a screech, a crash, then saw a car in a ditch.

8:29 a.m., Jamestown — Two juveniles were smoking pot at a playground on Fifth Street.

1:28 p.m., Sonora — A man with facial tattoos and “devil eyebrows” came to a Lavender Lane resident’s house and asked about his car.

9:18 p.m., Sonora — Three people ran on Mono Way and Restano Way while trying to catch a rabbit.

3:44 a.m., Jamestown — Rodney Dean Spreadborough, 60, of the 10100 block of Pulpit Rock Road, was booked following an arrest on Pulpit Rock Road.

6:56 p.m., Twain Harte — Timothy Scott Hoblitt, 48, of the 23000 block of Twain Harte Drive, was booked following an arrest on the 18700 block of Tiffeni Drive.

12:56 a.m., Soulsbyville — Jerome Chavolla Damien, 50, of the 14800 block of Blue Bell Road, was booked following an arrest on Willow Springs Road.

3:43 a.m., Tuolumne — Daniel Anthony Leon, 21, of the 20600 block of Ponderosa Way, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and additional misdemeanor charges driving without a license following an arrest on Tuolumne Road North.

7:47 a.m., Jamestown — James Daniel Brant, 27, of Wheeler Road, Long Barn, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale and misdemeanor charge fraudulent use of information stored on payment cards following an arrest on Victoria Place.

5:54 p.m., Sonora — Edward Lee Waring, 35, of the 400 block of Leon Avenue, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury following an arrest on Stockton Road.

Midnight, Sonora — Nicole Julieeana Morales, 26, of the 600 block of Orchard Avenue, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury following an arrest at her home.

7:04 p.m., Sonora — Daniel Crispin Cisneros, 31, of the first block of Linoberg Street, was booked on suspicion of grand theft from a person and misdemeanor charges battery following an arrest at his home.

11:11 p.m., Murphys — A suspicious-looking vehicle on Pennsylvania Gulch Road appeared to be unoccupied.
