The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

7:47 a.m., vandalism, property damage — The front window was broken out at a Stockton Road business over the weekend.

11:08 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A rock was thrown through the side window of a high school bus on Shaws Flat Road bus over the weekend.

12:02 p.m., hazardous situation — A person on Mono Way said a man on a moped was backing up traffic, but he said he was riding in the bike lane.

4:57 p.m., parking — A vehicle was issued a citation for parking in a no parking zone on East Lyons Street.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

6:04 a.m., Jamestown — A man kicked out of a Highway 108 gas station loitered outside at a picnic table, talking to himself and acting strange.

12:55 p.m., Sonora — A person on Lime Rock Drive said the fire department was “putting out a barrel of meth and it was exploding,” but the fire department said they were not out there.

1:43 p. m., Twain Harte — A person on Ponderosa Drive said their neighbor was working on a car and drained power steering fluid into their yard.

4:12 p.m., Jamestown — A person on Mill Villa Road said someone stole a statue from her yard.

9:48 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman on Birch Street wandered onto a property with a flashlight and after the property owner asked her to leave, the woman with a flashlight could not be found.

12:13 a.m., Jamestown — Christopher Andrew Means, 23, transient, was booked on suspicion of first degree burglary and misdemeanor charges tampering with a vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest on the 17700 block of Red Oak Drive.

7:50 a.m., Sonora — James Everett Rhodes, 55, transient, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury following an arrest on the first block of Shaws Flat Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

9:55 a.m., Valley Springs — A suspicious person was seen on California Street.

11:13 a.m., Arnold — People Black Oak Drive were involved in an altercation over missing socks.

1:22 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A room at an Andrew Lane residence was broken into.

2:48 p.m., Mountain Ranch — People on Red Cloud Court were involved in a dispute over the use of weed killer on a property line.

3:39 p.m., Valley Springs — Reckless driving on a rider mower on Lime Creek Road resulted in an arrest.
