TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

6:33 a.m., warrant arrests — A man with black eyes threatened to burn a Sanguinetti Road business down and gave an employee a note that said if they don’t pay for his groceries someone would harm his family.

1:14 p.m., theft — A rear license plate and current registration was stolen from a vehicle parked in an Old Wards Ferry Parking lot.

5:33 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman was lying on the asphalt, past the gate and in front of a Symons Lane property.

6:31 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man in a light yellow shirt and gray shorts was hallucinating and attempted to fight a trash can, but told officers he had a medical problem and was not under the influence.

10:06 p.m., animal complaints — A woman at a Greenley Road bus stop stomped on a black and white pitbull.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:03 a.m., Sonora — Someone at a Reynolds Ferry Campground said an animal was attempting to get into their cooler.

10:38 a.m., Sonoras — A vehicle was parked in a Longeway Road parking lot for several days and there appeared to be a pistol in the ashtray.

10:47 a.m., Columbia — A woman on McKellar Drive requested advice about “the neighbor letting his dog piss all over her trash cans and property.”

4:15 p.m., Sonora — A prank call was made to a Mono Way real estate office.

5:21 p.m., Jamestown — A pregnant woman in a pink tank top, jean shorts and bandana acted strangely and carried a meth pipe outside a Highway 108 coffee shop.

WEDNESDAY

8:59 p.m., Sonora — Daniel James Jones, 29, of the 100 block of Preston Place, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence, reckless driving and a probation violation following an arrest at his home.

4:46 p.m., Sonora — Joel Westley Acker, 29, of the 18300 block of East Blue Bell Road, was booked on suspicion of felony driving under the influence causing bodily injury following an arrest on Tuolumne Road West.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

2:09 a.m., Valley Springs — An intoxicated man took his dog for a walk on Rose Street.

8:03 a.m., San Andreas — People argued on California Street.

1:09 p.m., Murphys — A Bret Harte Lane resident alleged an internet scam.

4:40 p.m., Valley Springs — A dog was left in a vehicle on Highway 12.

10:17 p.m., Murphys — A barking dog prompted a disturbance complaint on Coyote Drive.
