The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

1:04 a.m., pedestrian/vehicle checks — A person behind a South Washington Street business was determined to not be under the influence but just sleeping.

5:19 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man with his pants down outside of a South Washington Street business was determined to have just been adjusting his pants and did not expose himself.

10:09 a.m., lost, found property — A marijuana pipe found at the bottom of the stairs at a North Washington Street parking structure was disposed of.

2:40 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man believed to have been making gun hand gestures at passing motorists denied making the gestures.

5:36 p.m., animal complaints — Two labradors, one black and one golden, ran loose in the area of South June Street.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

3:45 a.m., Tuolumne — A person on Cemetery Lane heard a woman screaming and pleading for her life.

10:14 a.m., Groveland — A person on Elderberry Way said they wanted to speak to a detective regarding someone working on planes and a plane crash.

2:39 p.m., Jamestown — A Rolling Hills Boulevard resident said someone came into her home without permission and he fled after her son confronted him.

7:16 p.m., Jamestown — People recently evicted from a Willow Street hotel left behind their motorcycle and did not return to pick it up.

11:36 p.m., Jamestown — A motorist was given a warning after a traffic stop on Fifth Avenue.

2:02 p.m., Jamestown — Ashley Rishel Baxter, 31, of the first block of Sanguinetti Court, Copperopolis, was booked following an arrest on Highway 108.

12:36 a.m., Sonora — Travis Raymond Jahncke, 37, of Sonora, was booked on suspicion of assault upon a person by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury, battery with serious bodily injury and misdemeanor charges disorderly conduct following an arrest on the first block of South Washington Street.

1:09 a.m., Sonora — Tanya Maria Elizabeth Dunlap, 30, of Kewin Mill Road, was booked on suspicion of bringing alcohol or drugs into jail and possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest on Hess Avenue.

11:17 p.m., Twain Harte — Starley Ray Bunch, 29, of the 2600 block of Highway 108, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury following an arrest on the 23600 block of Highway 108.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

12:46 a.m., Valley Springs — A door was left open at a Pine Street business.

5:56 a.m., Valley Springs — An alarm sounded at a Driver Road school.

9:20 a.m., San Andreas — A person at a East Saint Charles Street gas station believed there was a skimmer on a gas pump.

9:51 a.m., San Andreas — A door was kicked in at a West Saint Charles Street business.

2:28 p.m., Arnold — A building on Mill Creek Circle was damaged by a felled tree.
