The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY
12:37 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Two women checked the doors at a building on Greenley Road.

9:29 a.m., trespass/loiter — Someone snuck into a hotel room and locked himself in the bathroom.

12:04 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A man went to a North Arbona Circle residence to get some of his personal belongings and damaged property in the home.

4:47 p.m., trespass/loiter — A woman camped on the porch of a South Stewart Street residence and said she would leave by the next day.

8:58 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on Greenley Road heard three to six shots that seemed to be from a gun.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:52 a.m., Jamestown — The friend of a Park Avenue resident drank an entire bottle of wine and banged on things.

8:22 a.m., Sonora — Homeless people camped inside an SUV at a Lyons Bald Mountain Road cemetery and left trash.

2:57 p.m., Sonora — A man at a Greenley Road health center said his mom was missing and asked people for money.

4:29 p.m., Sonora — A person on Lime Kiln Road said his neighbor attacked him and possibly broke his nose.

11:08 p.m., Jamestown — A dog on Old Jacksonville Road attacked a buffalo.

SATURDAY

7:43 a.m., Sonora — A woman on Barron Ranch Road secured a restraining order against a man but found him parked in her driveway sleeping in his vehicle.

1:29 p.m., Sonora — The front door to a North Sunshine Road property was left open for approximately six days.

2:07 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman chain smoked on the property line of a Crocker Avenue property and talked to herself.

8:18 p.m., Columbia — A dog on Gold Springs Drive barked for over three hours, but when the owner was contacted, the man became belligerent.

8:52 p.m., Sonora — A man came to a house on Russian River Drive and said “are you going to let me in” to the resident.

SUNDAY

1:47 a.m., Twain Harte — A Highland Drive resident said one of her coworkers was drunk and attempting to break into her apartment.

10:17 a.m., La Grange — A man on Merced Falls Road returned home and found “small knife marks” in his shirt.

10:38 a.m., Columbia — People in a black SUV came to a trout farm on Springfield Road and said they wanted to fish.

8:09 p.m., Sonora — A person on Kewin Mill Road heard at least 10 gunshots.

8:53 p.m., Sonora — A person at a Mono Way hotel demanded a deputy come to his room and look at the black mold in his shower because the front desk said the person couldn’t change rooms and no one was available to clean it.


MONDAY

11:30 a.m., Jamestown — Three men argued with each other on Main Street.

12:06 p.m., Jamestown — Several men on Manor Drive attempted to sell vacuums, but when a person declined the offer, they cursed at him.

1:03 p.m., Tuolumne — A man came to a business on Cherokee Road and identified himself as a girl’s biological father, and he continued to try to contact her even when people told him he wasn’t.

5:33 p.m., Tuolumne — A man on Cedar Street attacked his neighbor with a bat.

8:55 p.m., Sonora — A person was at a Tuolumne Road park “ranting and raving” and pounded on a woman’s door.

12:05 a.m., Twain Harte — Mariah Lynn Barajas, 26, of the 14100 block of Oak Knoll Road, was booked following an arrest on Little Fuller Road.

3:21 a.m., Sonora — Grant Christian Hulet, 27, of the 20900 block of Apple Valley Drive, was booked following an arrest on Highway 108.

7:49 p.m., Sonora — Harold Encinias, 65, of the 17900 block of Blue Bell East, was booked following an arrest on Tuolumne Road.
