The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY
11:46 a.m., parking — A vehicle was parked on Roble Drive for over a week and an officer contacted the owner to move it.

12:31 p.m., miscellaneous codes — Someone defecated behind a building on Stockton Road.

1:04 p.m., parking — A vehicle was parked in the red zone on South Washington Street for about 30 minutes before the owner moved it.

2:03 p.m., animal complaints — A resident on North Arbona Circle allowed their chickens to “roam free.”

10:31 p.m., pedestrian/vehicle checks — Approximately six people were asked to leave an area on Hospital Road.

12:42 p.m., theft — A man stole a jacket and wallet from a South Washington Street bar.

3:35 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Three men in bicycle outfits outside of a Mono Way coffee shop accused a woman of knocking down a racing bicycle, but she claimed she had dash cam footage which proved she didn’t.

5:57 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man with long hair and in a white jacket walked in and out of traffic on North Washington Street.

8:19 p.m., theft — A man wearing a hoodie and with a wrapped but bleeding hand attempted to push out a cart of items from a Sanguinetti Road business, but employees were able to retrieve the cart.

8:39 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on Shaws Flat Road heard what they believed was a gunshot or a vehicle backfiring when a pickup truck left a residence.

9:45 a.m., trespass/loiter — A group of four transients stayed in a tent at the rear of a Cemetery Lane property and were asked to leave.

10:52 a.m., hazardous situation — A vehicle was disabled in front of a Mono Way business and assisted out of the road.

11:14 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A person at a Pesce Way car wash believed vacuums didn't work and were vandalized because the hoses and trash were on the ground.

4:00 p.m., theft — A wooden sculpture was stolen from a South Washington Street business.

4:40 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on Sanguinetti Road watched a man run out of the fire exit of a business and unload unbagged items into a waiting vehicle.
