The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

8:06 a.m., theft — Someone rummaged through a vehicle that was parked on Oakside Drive overnight and took a mirror, miscellaneous change and cash.

11:45 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man yelled, cursed and banged on the door of an Elk Drive property.

2:04 p.m., trespass/loiter — A person on East Dodge Street said that a person repeatedly trespassed.

4:57 p.m., vandalism, property damage — An abandoned residence on Hospital Road was damaged, and an owner claimed $25,000 in damages.

8:26 p.m., theft — Tarps were stolen from a residence on Wrights Lane.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

5:27 a.m., Sonora — A person on Highway 108 said someone with a truck dumped trash at a homeless encampment.

7:51 a.m., Sonora — A young girl was approached by a man with a dog at a bus stop on Old Sonora Columbia Road, and the girl appeared to back “off and away” from the man.

10:45 a.m., Tuolumne — A person with a chainsaw on 3N01 cut down two fence posts that “were offensive to him.”

12:59 p.m., Sonora — The driver and passenger of a silver Toyota Tacoma smoked marijuana while driving on Mono Way.

9:24 p.m., Jamestown —A man and woman were in the playground of a Preston Lane apartment complex after hours.

8:06 a.m., San Andreas — People on High School Street argued over a video posted online.

9:26 a.m., Murphys — Trash was dumped on private property on French Gulch Road.

9:34 a.m., Burson — Locks were cut on storage units on Highway 12.

12:34 p.m., Arnold — A person on Gertrude Way was concerned that there was a moving truck at his neighbor’s house.

2:49 p.m., Copperopolis — A package was stolen from a Quail Hill Road property.

6:10 p.m., San Andreas — Jessica James Brauer, 27, of the 7000 block of Anderson Street, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury and burglary following an arrest on Mountain Ranch Road.
