The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY
5:48 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman walked in circles in a Sanguinetti Road and Old Wards Ferry Road intersection.

12:30 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A person on South Washington Street believed their husband’s vehicle tire was punctured while it was parked near a business.

1:00 p.m., theft — Two women stole a bottle of alcohol from a Stockton Road business and sold it to a man outside the store.

2:54 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A woman with a shopping cart shouted profanities on Stockton Road.

3:06 p.m., miscellaneous harassment — A person on Greenley Road said a woman was slandering him by hanging signs that said things about his business.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:40 a.m., Long Barn — A truck flipped over on Highway 108 next to a sign that said “10 miles from Pinecrest.”
11:39 a.m., Jamestown — An Enterprise Drive resident’s credit card was used fraudulently on a wholesale website for $441.

5:06 p.m., Sonora — A person on Highway 49 believed they saw a man jumping a fence to get onto a property.

10:06 p.m., Sonora — A person at a camp on Stockton Road said someone stole his things and if he didn’t get help he would “take care of it himself.”

11:41 p.m., Chinese Camp — A suspicious vehicle was seen in the area of Red Hills Road and Serpentine Loop Road.

9:25 a.m., San Andreas — A theft occurred at a California Street residence.

9:50 a.m., Copperopolis — A man slept inside a vehicle on Feather Drive and person believed he did this repeatedly.

10:08 a.m., San Andreas — Students on Old Oak Road were involved in a fight.

12:37 p.m., Paloma — Vehicles were abandoned on a Gwin Street property.

9:14 p.m., Valley Springs — Dog food was stolen from a Highway 26 property.

4 p.m., Arnold — David Arthur Eastwood, 19, of the 1900 block of Sugar Pine Way, Murphys, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft, receiving known stolen property and misdemeanor charges vandalism and petty theft following an arrest on the 2500 block of Middle Drive.
