8:03 a.m., San Andreas — A disturbance was reported on West Saint Charles Street.

8:36 a.m., Valley Springs — A motorist was assisted on Highway 12.

12:27 p.m., Hathaway Pines — Vandalism was reported on Canyon View Drive.

3:46 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Theft was reported on River Ranch Drive.

7:42 p.m., Burson — A firearm was discharged on Copper Cove Drive.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

2:49 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A transient man who appeared to be under the influence yelled in front of a Mono Way business.

11:48 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A person at a West Bradford Avenue business found a window that had been tampered with and believed it was evidence someone was attempting to break in.

3:06 p.m., animal complaints — A person at a Southgate Drive property said a skunk was in front of their home and believed it might have rabies because skunks were nocturnal but it was out during the day.

5 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person at a South Washington Street restaurant couldn’t find her vehicle after a meal, but later did.

6:38 p.m., trespass/loiter — Two young girls loitered on a skate ramp behind a Mono Way business and, when they were advised to leave, they left in the back of the shopping center.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

8:42 a.m., Jamestown — A person on Highway 108 threw rocks at vehicles, and when the person was confronted, they threatened to burn a house down.

12:15 p.m., Sonora — A person on Crystal Lake Drive said her husband’s paycheck was stolen out of their mailbox.

10:06 p.m., Twain Harte — A Cedar Springs Road resident saw his neighbor’s motion light go on and a screen door ajar and believed it was suspicious.

10:48 p.m., Jamestown — A person on Chicken Ranch Road said someone took his debit card.
