The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:15 a.m., theft — The front license plate was stolen off a vehicle parked in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot.

11:49 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman hit a door of a Saratoga Road residence in an attempt to serve a subpoena.

1:16 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person holding a teddy bear and wearing purple appeared to be intoxicated and yelled at people as they walked by a South Washington Street bookstore.

5:13 p.m., miscellaneous harassment — A man yelled and cussed at a woman inside a Sanguinetti Road business because she cut in a line.

8:26 p.m., public intoxication — A man drank alcohol and slept in his vehicle on Snell Street after a woman asked him to leave her house.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:39 a.m., Sonora — Employees of a Cedar Road health center found evidence of after-hours bonfires at the business and added that a toaster oven had been stolen from outside.

11:59 a.m., Jamestown — A man on Seco Street hid behind trees and “acted strange.”

2:56 p.m., Sonora — Someone broke into a rented space on North Sunshine Road and stole $8,000 worth tools.

5:17 p.m., Tuolumne — A Laurel Avenue resident asked a deputy to pick up presents left on her porch by family members she said she did not get along with.

8:37 p.m., Sonora — A man stole several canisters of baby formula from a Mono Way business.

10:18 p.m., Jamestown — A person on Sixth Street said a local “drug house” filled garbage cans on his property with trash.

12:50 a.m., Sonora — Gina Marie Chiodo, 37, of the 10800 block of Quicksilver Street, Waterford, was booked on suspicion of impersonation of another following an arrest on the first block of Lower Sunset Drive.

10:06 a.m., Sonora — Sean Matthew Evans, 37, of the 10300 block of Preston Lane, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of burglary, receiving known stolen property and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance and resisting a peace officer following an arrest on Chukar Circle.

11:25 a.m., Sonora — Daniel Ernest Oliver, 41, of the 12700 block of Chukar Circle, was booked on suspicion of keeping a place to sell a narcotic controlled substance, possession of cannabis for sale, possession of a controlled substance for sale, criminal conspiracy and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia following an arrest at his home.

11:25 a.m., Sonora — James Michael Tracy Jr., 30, transient, was booked on suspicion of possession of a narcotic controlled substance for sale, keeping a place to sell a narcotic controlled substance, criminal conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance for sale and bringing alcohol or drugs into jail following an arrest on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle.

2:58 p.m., Tuolumne — James Joseph Armbright, 27, of the 19400 block of Mi Wu Street, was booked on suspicion of threatening crime with an intent to terrorize, inflicting corporal injury and misdemeanor charges disorderly conduct following an arrest on the 19400 block of Mi Wu Street.

4:19 p.m., Sonora — Cesar Rico Hernandez, 35, transient, was booked on suspicion of crimes against an elder, vandalism, burglary, and misdemeanor charges battery following an arrest on Mono Way.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

11:21 a.m., San Andreas — A person on Jeff Tuttle Drive was in possession of a counterfeit $100 bill.

12:45 p.m., Arnold — A motorhome was parked in a commercial parking lot on Cedar Lane.

2:42 p.m., Valley Springs — A person on Hogan Dam Road yelled at passersby.

5:20 p.m., Angels Camp — A suspicious person was seen at the intersection of Highway 49 and Brunner Hill Drive.

9:07 p.m., San Andreas — People on Pope Street argued.
