The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY
2:44 p.m., animal complaints — Two dead animals caused a road hazard near the intersection of South Washington Street and Restano Way and were disposed of.

4:16 p.m., trespass/loiter — A transient man slept against a wall at a Hospital Road property.

10:57 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Two women were approached by a man outside of a Mono Way restaurant and were asked “odd questions” before he ducked into some nearby bushes.

11:46 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A vehicle with a loud stereo was parked outside of a Sanguinetti Road business.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

2:38 a.m., Twain Harte — A person at a Cedar Springs Road residence said their stepson was on acid or mushrooms and “freaking out.”

10:56 a.m., Chinese Camp — A man dressed in red showed up to a Sims Road property in a disoriented state and said he was hungry and thirsty.

5:25 p.m., Jamestown — A person was afraid that someone on Mill Villa Road with a pickup truck filled with old cabinets was looking for a place to dump them.

6:05 p.m., Sonora — A man who was outside a Via Redonda property may have been under the influence because of how he screamed and “acted crazy.”

11:39 p.m., Jamestown — A man on McKibben Drive accidentally called 911 and frantically pressed buttons, cussed and said “I can’t undo it!” after he was connected with a dispatcher.

12:29 a.m., Sonora — Melissa Ann Olson, 35, of the 16500 block of Westwood Circle, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury following an arrest on the 14500 block of Lolly Lane.

2:07 a.m., Jamestown — Adam Joseph Hector, 38, of the 1000 block of Post Road, Oakdale, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance in jail and misdemeanor charges driving with a suspended license following an arrest on the 17100 block of Chicken Ranch Road.

3:00 a.m., Twain Harte — Tyler Glenn Horton, 19, of the 21900 block of Cedar Springs Road, was booked on suspicion of obstructing an executive officer, removing a weapon that was not a firearm from a peace officer, attempting to remove a firearm from a peace officer and misdemeanor charges use of a controlled substance following an arrest at his home.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

5:21 a.m., Angels Camp — A citation was issued to a person going through the trash on Frogtown Road.

7:11 a.m., San Andreas — A person slept in front of an East Saint Charles Street business.

7:59 a.m., Arnold — A panic alarm sounded at a Moran Road property, but when deputies responded it was determined that the homeowners had a faulty alarm.

8:38 a.m., Valley Springs — A person on Sequoia Avenue found an illegal substance and turned it over to the Sheriff’s Office.

9:37 a.m., Valley Springs — A person on Gold Run Court saw “white colored items in the air.”

3:39 p.m., West Point — Mason Robert Duvall, 20, of the 100 block of Barney Way, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license following an arrest on Highway 26.
