THURSDAY

4:15 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A window was broken at a bank on South Washington Street.

4:26 p.m., theft — A man wearing a dirty black suit and fedora stole a shopping cart full of merchandise from a grocery store on Mono Way and sped off in a white truck.

6:22 p.m., controlled substances — A man in gray shorts and a yellow shirt took a laundry basket from a laundromat on West Stockton Street.

Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

9:23 a.m., Sonora — Someone said a business on Cuesta Court had their car for six months and the owner has not returned repeated phone calls.

10:07 a.m., Sonora — A man said he was threatened by another man in a courtroom on North Washington Street.

11:05 a.m., Jamestown — A man said someone was removing minerals from a property he owned the right to on Gold Links Road.

12:22 p.m., Sonora — An air conditioner and two car seats were stolen from a house on McKamey Court.

12:25 p.m, Sonora — A medicine bag and $200 welding boots were stolen from a house on Skyview Drive.

12:31 p.m., Sonora — A woman on Lazy Z Lane believes her neighbors are taking photos of her while she smokes in her garage.

1:37 p.m., Sonora — Someone reported they believed a car wash on Mono Way was using discolored water that smelled like sewer.

2:40 p.m., Tuolumne — A man on Ruby Road said his WalMart credit card was used to buy merchandise that was delivered to a hotel on South Washington Street.

4:21 p.m., Sonora — Someone dumped trash on Lime Kiln Road.

7:07 p.m., Jamestown — A man slammed his pickup truck his door into a car and fled on Highway 108.

8:04 p.m., Sonora — A man said security cameras at his house on Mountain Lily Road caught a young girl inside.

5:41 a.m., Sonora — Starley Ray Bunch, 29, B Street, Arnold, was booked on suspicion of taking a vehicle without owner consent, receiving stolen vehicle after an arrest on Mono Way.

5:41 a.m., Sonora — Lukus Samuel Sabedra, 35, 5800 block Garden View Way, Salida, was booked on suspicion of taking a vehicle without owner consent, receiving stolen vehicle and possession of forged notes after an arrest on Mono Way.

6:49 p.m., Valley Springs — A man who rides a horse was panhandling outside a structure on Highway 26.
