The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

8:03 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A juvenile walked down the side of Greenley Road carrying a hatchet.

1:36 p.m., traffic accidents — A gold Nissan Xterra may have been responsible for a hit-and-run accident near a fast food restaurant on Mono Way.

1:49 p.m., trespass/loiter — A person requested a man be removed from a Jackson Street drop-in center for disturbing other people who were there.

8:02 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A person kicked the side mirror off a vehicle parked on Linoberg Street.

11:20 p.m., any civil problem — A man on Restano Way said a person stole the keys to his business and a cell phone.

SATURDAY

8:34 a.m., animal complaints — A man on Bourbon Street said his dog was lost last night but had since returned.

9:38 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A woman “tore up” the plants at a North Washington Street property.

10:25 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A person at a South Washington Street house yelled at passing motorists, threw water jug in the road and banged items inside a house that was under construction.
7:04 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An older woman attempted to force a younger woman into a vehicle on Sanguinetti Road.


SUNDAY
7:22 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Two people screamed at a bus stop on Greenley Road and threw their belongings in the road.

12:46 p.m., hazardous situation — A man in a wheelchair weaved in and out of traffic on South Washington Street.

9:46 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man was parked near the front door of a North Norlin Street property for many hours.

10:50 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A men’s restroom sign was damaged on Woods Creek Drive.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

2:33 a.m., Tuolumne — A cab driver on Tuolumne Road North ordered belligerent passengers out of his cab, but they refused to get out and threatened him.

11:27 a.m., Strawberry — A person near Forest Road 4N34 near Cleo’s Bath lost track of a trail, but after providing latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates she found her way back.

1:23 p.m., Groveland — Two people got out of their vehicles on Mueller Drive and fought in the street after a road rage incident.

8:06 p.m., Sonora — A Broken Pine Road woman said she was in an uncomfortable situation because her stepfather had access to her deceased father’s property.

11:13 p.m., Twain Harte — A person on Golf Club Drive reported a cabin hosting a large and loud party in the area.


SATURDAY

12:37 a.m., Tuolumne — People on Willow Avenue set off fireworks.

7:46 a.m., Long Barn — A big brown bear ate out of a trash can on Snow Avenue but ran to a neighboring house after setting off an alarm.

5:40 p.m., Jamestown — After a loose pig was found on Jacksonville Road, several tick-infested dogs and other neglected animals were found in an unoccupied home.

7:48 p.m., Sonora — A vehicle with a black bottom and white top that “looked like a cop car” continually went into a Campo Seco Road resident’s driveway.

9:20 p.m., Sonora — A woman on Eagle Ridge Drive said she needed water and her stuff at an Eagle Ridge Drive facility, but also talked about “Fathers Day and how she had a father but wishes her other father was back and how her mom raised her because she had no fathers.”

SUNDAY

8:51 a.m., Sonora — A package was stolen from the mailbox of a Phoenix Lake Road property.

9:29 a.m., Pinecrest — A motorboat was stolen from a Pinecrest Avenue cabin while a vehicle was parked.

9:35 p.m., Sonora — Two women argued for two hours in front of a Curtis Circle property and punched their car, which was broken down in the road.

9:56 p.m., La Grange — Campers on Bonds Flat Road invited two other campers to hang out with them by the fire, but the two people became extremely intoxicated and tried to start a fight.

10:46 p.m., Sonora — A person on Tuolumne Road told his grandmother he was beaten up by two men.

12:27 a.m., Sonora — Ashley Louise Delponte, 26, of the 24100 block of Awahnee Road, was booked after an arrest on Longeway Road.

2:00 a.m., Twain Harte — Michael James Mazouch, 46, of the 19200 block of Tanglewood Trail, was booked after an arrest near Tanglewood Trail.

10:41 p.m., Jamestown — Brandy Marie Johnston, 38, transient, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49.

12:38 a.m., Sonora — Richard Robert Thomas, 51, of the 2100 block of Acorn Court, Scotts Valley, was booked after an arrest on the 300 block of Washington Street.

1:05 a.m., Columbia — Natalie Michelle Latour, 20, of the 900 block of Lynn Court, Ripon, was booked after an arrest on Parrotts Ferry Road.
6:57 p.m., Sonora — Alan Hardenbrook Curtis, 53, of the 19800 block of Corte Primero Street, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49.

8:49 p.m., Sonora — Benjamin Vagara Tarango, 50, of the 22500 block of Italian Bar Road, Columbia, was booked on suspicion of stalking after an arrest on Lower Sunset Drive.

2:30 a.m., Jamestown — Brian Clifford Beaty, 50, of the 10100 block of Peppermint Creek, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury and false imprisonment after an arrest at his home.

7:26 p.m., Sonora — Deshon Frank Mansfield, 25, of the 16600 block of Allison Way, was booked on suspicion of first degree burglary, carrying a concealed dirk or dagger and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance, destroying or concealing evidence, and obstructing a peace officer after an arrest on the 18300 block of Wards Ferry Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

4:48 a.m., Valley Springs — A suspicious vehicle was parked in the area of Robin Road.

8:44 a.m., Arnold — An outbuilding on Moran Road was broken into.

1:56 p.m., Dorrington — The window to a vacant building on Choctaw Drive was broken.

2:26 p.m., Arnold — A residential alarm sounded on Augusta Drive.

12:31 a.m., Murphys — A person knocked at the door of a Fairway Village Court resident, but no people were found.

1:18 a.m., Burson — A person on Wade Lane heard yelling and possibly a bear, but a deputy was unable to locate anything.

9:12 a.m., Mountain Ranch — People were involved in a disagreement over money on Sheep Ranch Road.

12:19 p.m., Vallecito — A person may have been living at a vacant residence on Juniper Drive.

9:16 p.m., San Andreas — Fireworks were heard in the area of West Saint Charles Street.

5:05 a.m., Copperopolis — A person on Chuckwagon Drive believed they were being followed.

6:03 a.m., Copperopolis — A person on Council Trail drove a vehicle without permission.

8:23 a.m., Murphys — Money was reported stolen on Highway 4.

2:28 p.m., Murphys — A dog was left in a vehicle on Main Street, but a deputy determined the dog was not in distress.

3:01 p.m., San Andreas — A customer stayed past their allotted time in a room on West Saint Charles Street.

12:15 a.m., San Andreas — Edgar M. Ibarra, 29, of the 700 block of E Street, Woodland, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49.
