The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY
6:04 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man pushed a woman up against the wall of a South Washington Street building.

9:40 a.m., animal complaints — A dog bit someone on Lyons Bald Mountain Road while on a lift assistance call.

12:31 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man on Mono Way yelled “cleaning souls to others and starting a fire on Lake Placid.”

2:56 p.m., fraudulent activities — A woman on North Forest Road believed someone was fraudulently using her identity.

6:34 p.m., trespass/loiter — A transient woman slept in the ambulance bay of a Hospital Road facility.


SATURDAY

10:10 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — The security guard at a business on Old Wards Ferry Road had an argument with a transient.

1:53 p.m., lost, found property — A credit card was found during a farmer’s market on South Stewart Street.

1:56 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man was supposed to leave a South Washington Street hotel room by 11 a.m., but refused because he was drunk.

3:11 p.m., animal compinats — A dog cried inside a vehicle on Sanguinetti Road when the windows were slightly cracked for about two hours.

5:55 p.m., warrant arrests — A person heard someone in a vehicle on Woods Creek Drive speaking about the “sharp end of a needle.”


SUNDAY

2:16 a.m., unclassified — A man stole recycling items from a South Green Street construction site.

2:40 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Two men fought in a South Washington Street parking lot and one was bleeding.

9:26 a.m., vandalism, property damage — The rear window was broken out of a vehicle on Greenley Road.

2:06 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A 55 gallon drum with a description of the contents as “soil” was abandoned near railroad tracks on South Washington Street.

3:23 p.m., theft — Two transients stole merchandise from a Mono Way business.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

3:05 a.m., Mountain Ranch — A guest refused to leave a Worden Road property.

1:06 p.m., Valley Springs — Washing machines were vandalized on Pine Street.

1:28 p.m., San Andreas — A box was stolen from the back of a truck on East Saint Charles Street.

8:21 p.m., San Andreas — A person was suspicious of a man selling solar equipment on Calaveritas Road, but a deputy confirmed that the business was legitimate.

9:07 p.m., West Point — A person walked with a flashlight on Stanley Road.

1:52 a.m., Burson — Campers played loud music on Wade Lane after “quiet time.”

3:03 a.m., Angels Camp — A man was seen inside of a fenced storage area on Highway 49.

3:03 p.m., Railroad Flat — People were involved in argument over target shooting on Sierra Madre Road.

4:43 p.m., Angels Camp — A woman was weed eating on South Main Street and her neighbor pointed a rifle at her and said if she stepped over a line she was going to shoot her.

6:54 p.m., Valley Springs — A loud music complaint was issued on Hartvickson Lane.

10:11 a.m., Valley Springs — A trailer on New Hogan Parkway did not have a license plate.

4:40 p.m., Dorrington — Shots were heard in the area of Navajo Drive.

6:01 p.m., San Andreas — People were involved in an argument on Mountain Ranch Road.

6:54 p.m., Copperopolis — A driver on Highway 4 waited on the road for a tow truck.

7:31 p.m., San Andreas — A man walked along Highway 49.

12:15 a.m., Valley Springs — Michael Steele Dunn, 53, of the 6700 block of McCauley Road, was booked on suspicion of criminal conspiracy, robbery and threatening crime with the intent to terrorize following an arrest on the 6700 block of McCauley Road.

12:15 a.m., Valley Springs — Rose Marie Owens, 55, of the 6700 block of of McCauley Road, was booked on suspicion of criminal conspiracy, robbery and threatening crime and misdemeanor charges exhibiting a firearm following an arrest on the 6700 block of McCauley Road.

4:30 p.m., Paloma — Matthew Lee Brownlee, 46, of the 6200 block of Paloma Road, was booked on suspicion of child cruelty and misdemeanor charges obstructing a peace officer following an arrest at his home.

11:00 p.m., Valley Springs — Francisco Baron Velazquez, 50, of the 200 block of Sequoia Avenue, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury following an arrest at his home.

11:50 a.m., Valley Springs — Conner Ryan Peterson, 35, of the 600 block of Quail Oaks Road, was booked on suspicion of rape, child cruelty and misdemeanor charges battery and damaging a wireless device following an arrest on the 600 block of Quail Oaks Road.
