The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY
9:30 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man at a Sanguinetti Road shopping center appeared to be “delusional.”

3:41 p.m., lost, found property — A backpack was left in front of a Sanguinetti Road business.

4:15 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Several people spread out clothing near vacuums at a Mono Way business and someone was concerned they were setting up a camp, but it was determined that they were cleaning their vehicle.

8:28 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man driving on McCormick Drive attempted to pick up a woman.

11:43 p.m., reckless driving — An intoxicated man drove near a parking structure on North Washington Street.


SATURDAY

10:10 a.m., vandalism, property damage — Someone damaged a planter box in front of a South Washington Street business.

11:55 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A suspicious looking man walked a dog in the area of East Church Street.

2:57 p.m., public intoxication — A man rode a skateboard in and out of traffic on Mono Way while consuming alcohol.

7:06 p.m., Animal complaints — A dog that did not appear to be aggressive followed a person on North Washington Street.

SUNDAY
7:36 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A person on East Jackson Street heard a loud chain saw for almost an hour.

2:04 p.m., trespass/loiter — A woman at a Mono Way store stole a backpack full of items and was removed from the area after the items were returned.

4:55 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man lied down on the ground near Mono Way after an argument with a woman.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

7:42 a.m., Sonora — A car part was stolen from in front of a Phoenix Lake Road home.

2:27 p.m., Sonora — Tenants moved out of a Cedar Road property but then waited down the street with their car, and the owner believed they were waiting to get more things from the home.

6:15 p.m., Sonora — A man pulled a starving dog across the street at a Mono Way property and then waited under a tree.

8:50 p.m., Jamestown — A cable box was stolen from a Willow Street property and the owner suspected it was an employee who had been recently let go.

11:12 p.m., Sonora — A person on Partridge way said “Yo, yo, I got a little situation going on here” and explained that someone made threats toward them after an argument.

12:03 p.m., Tuolumne — Screaming, yelling and crying babies were heard at a Cherokee Road property.

3:05 p.m., Sonora — A person on Phoenix Lake Road said his neighbors created a racetrack in their backyard.

4:00 p.m., Groveland — A person on Highway 120 saw a man smoking marijuana with a 5-year-old girl in the back seat.

5:23 p.m., Jamestown — A man walked down Main Street and told people to “[expletive] off” and threatened to beat people up.

10:36 p.m., Sonora — A person on Mono Way found a used hypodermic needle.

5:33 a.m., Jamestown — A person stole a couple packs of cigarettes from a Highway 108 business.

8:34 a.m., Long Barn — A person on Alpine Drive estimated that more than $40 in change was stolen out of his car.

3:59 p.m., Sonora — A large piece of metal in the middle of Highway 49 forced drivers to swerve.

8:44 p.m., Sonora — A dog at a Racetrack Road property barked constantly.

10:36 p.m., Jamestown — Several “transient tweekers” played “rock drums on the sidewalk” and acted “whacked out.”

2:10 a.m., Jamestown — Amanda Reene Owens, 25, of the 4100 block of Flint Trail, Copperopolis, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and misdemeanor charges driving with a suspended license after an arrest on Highway 120.

3:20 a.m., Sonora — Stephanie Louise Foster, 30, of the 20900 block of Lama Teumete Road, Mi-Wuk Village, was booked after an arrest on the 21900 block of El Oso Way.

6:25 p.m., Sonora — Shelley Jean Ferraro, 55, of the 11300 block of Columbia Village Drive, was booked after an arrest on Livingston Street.

8:27 p.m., Soulsbyville — Randall King Clements, 36, of the 3000 block of Weston Ranch Street, Modesto, was booked after an arrest on Solubyville Road.
