The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY
12:59 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A woman yelled and screamed on Mono Way.

2:56 p.m., theft — A customer was unable to pay for food at a North Washington Street business but did not return later to pay their bill.

4:57 p.m., assault — A woman on South Barretta Street claimed her neighbor’s boyfriend attempted to stab her with a needle filled with heroin.

10:02 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on Ayba Street said a bomb was going to go off in the area.

10:09 p.m., reckless driving — Someone threw a beer at a person walking their dog on South Shepherd Street.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

6:48 a.m., Twain Harte — A wallet and checkbooks were found on Strauch Drive.

3:19 p.m., Sonora — A person on Kewin Mill Road reported a continual bullying incident where her son had been pushed down multiple times.

4:46 p.m., Sonora — A person with butcher gloves up to his elbow, a black bandana face mask, and a full splatter shield on his face ran “full-speed” up Highway 49.

9:04 p.m., Sonora — People on Punter Ranch Road were afraid of a man who said they didn’t belong there, and took handguns and shotguns into their bedroom to protect themselves.

9:57 p.m., Sonora — A person on Corte Primero said a woman threatened to kill him and a person could be heard screaming in the background.

2:55 a.m., Jamestown — Paul Anthony Quinn, 34, of the 16700 block of Chicken Ranch Road, was booked on suspicion of evading a peace officer with a wanton disregard for safety and misdemeanor charges resisting a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia and driving while license was suspended for reckless driving following an arrest on the 16700 block of Chicken Ranch Road.

2:28 p.m., Jamestown — Luke Thomas Seagraves, 29, transient, was booked on suspicion of violation of a restraining order to prevent domestic violence following an arrest on the 18700 block of Highway 108.

4:15 p.m., Sonora — Kenneth Everett Wilkerson, 27, of the 8900 block of Bench Drive, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft, DUI with three or more priors and violation of his post-release community supervision following an arrest on Church Street.

11:40 p.m., Jamestown — James Cory Ropp, 31, unknown address, was booked on suspicion of bringing alcohol or a drug into jail and misdemeanor charges driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance following an arrest on Highway 120.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

12:17 a.m., Valley Springs — A vehicle was on a sidewalk on Highway 26.

12:51 a.m., Valley Springs — A man looked into vehicles in a business parking lot on Highway 12.

7:00 a.m., Valley Springs — A break-in with damage to a door was reported on Highway 12.

2:07 p.m., Angels Camp — A counterfeit $20 bill was found on Frogtown Road.

11:06 a.m., Angels Camp — A physical altercation was seen on Frogtown Road.
