The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY
9:05 a.m., traffic accidents — The driver of a vehicle pulled out of a residence on North Arbona Circle and damaged another vehicle.

11:05 a.m., parking — A vehicle without license plates was parked in a handicap zone on Snell Street.

1:04 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman on Stockton Road yelled out of frustration because she was lost.

3 p.m., obstructing justice/resist officer — An intoxicated man rode a handicap cart around the parking lot at Safeway.

6:20 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman was slumped over the steering wheel of her vehicle on Alpine Lane for at least an hour.


SATURDAY

8:29 a.m., vandalism, property damage — The women’s bathroom sign at a Woods Creek Drive park was removed from the door.

1:04 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man near a vehicle on South Stewart Street looked as if he was taking pictures of people.

3:17 p.m., trespass/loiter — A person refused to leave a Greenley Road property and yelled profanities at security guards.

3:36 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man urinated on a commercial trash bin behind a Mono Way business.

5:21 p.m., trespass/loiter — An intoxicated man sat in front of a Mono Way business.

SUNDAY

3:48 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A transient man on a bike made an inappropriate comment to a 12-year-old girl on South Washington Street.

5:34 p.m., suspicious circumstances — People may have been living inside of a recreational vehicle parked behind a Mono Way business.

7:01 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A transient man who talked to himself and yelled out loud may have been under the influence of something.

11:37 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Two men were excessively loud near commercial trash containers on Fairview Lane.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

2:41 a.m., Sonora — A vehicle went into a ditch on Stanislaus Court and may have also struck a pole in the area.

2:06 p.m., Sonora — A large and new looking duffel bag was seen on the side of Belleview Road.

6:04 p.m., Groveland — A minor was at a lake near Cassaretto Court and another minor threatened to take the kid’s money.

6:18 p.m., Columbia — An abandoned aluminum boat with clothes and boots inside was found near a Parrotts Ferry Road on a dock.

10:34 a.m., Twain Harte — A large piece of wood was seen in the middle of Highway 108.

12:31 p.m., Sonora — A person said a man and woman near North Sunshine Road attempted to break into coin boxes with a knife.

2:03 p.m., Sonora — A herd of goats was seen in the middle of Soulsbyville Road.

7:00 p.m., La Grange — A barbecue in back of a truck traveling on Bonds Flat Road was throwing embers.

8:55 a.m., Groveland — A person on Butler Way said someone was trying to hack into her computer.

6:52 p.m., Tuolumne — An intoxicated man stumbled near Tuolumne Road North and threw rocks and beer bottles at a tribal security vehicle.
