The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

9:04 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Customers at a Sanguinetti Road business believed a person brandished a firearm during a fight in the parking lot, but an officer was unable to locate anyone responsible.

10:42 a.m., animal complaints — A cat brought a dead bat into a Calaveras Way home.

TUESDAY

9:04 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Customers at a Sanguinetti Road business believed a person brandished a firearm during a fight in the parking lot, but an officer was unable to locate anyone responsible.

10:42 a.m., animal complaints — A cat brought a dead bat into a Calaveras Way home.

1:05 p.m., theft — A man ran away from a North Washington Street business after stealing what was believed to be a bike. When he was finally apprehended, the “bike” turned out to be rusted yard art with a wheel and the item was returned.

6:54 p.m., parking — A person placed large rocks under a vehicle while it was parked near Linoberg Street.

7:12 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — An East Church Street resident believed someone barricaded them from getting into their house with a huge tree in front of their walkway.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

12:25 a.m., Groveland — A man and woman at a Powerhouse Street residence hit stuff against their walls and slammed their doors.

10:09 a.m., Sonora — A Crestridge Avenue resident had ammunition that had corroded and needed to be disposed of.

11:21 p.m., Sonora — A Big Hill Road resident had a restraining order against a person who entered their residence, stole cigarettes and broke a bathroom door.

11:43 p.m., Sonora — A Granite Ridge Lane resident left the area and when he returned his car was running “weird” and the locks were changed on his things.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

TUESDAY

4:54 p.m., Sonora — Suzanne Kareen Elliott, 47, of the 18500 block of Wawona Drive, Groveland, was booked following an arrest on Mono Way.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY

10:25 p.m., Jamestown — Paul Thomas Smith, 50, of the 200 block of Waldon Street, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, transporting a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia and possession of 28.5 grams or less of marijuana with a prior conviction following an arrest on the 18300 block of Highway 108.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

9:48 a.m., San Andreas — People were involved in an argument on East Saint Charles Street.

1:05 p.m., Burson — A deputy investigating a fraud call on Wade Lane was unable to make contact with the caller.

4:25 p.m., Valley Springs — A vehicle on Sequoia Avenue was vandalized.

7:20 p.m., Copperopolis — A Poker Flat Road resident believed their computer was almost hacked.

TUESDAY

8:22 p.m., Copperopolis — Joseph Duane Dymond, 48, of the 17500 block of Ellis Lane, Jackson, was booked following an arrest on O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY

4:25 p.m., San Andreas — George Anthony Shuwoy, 24, of the 600 block of Tuolumne Drive, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of violating the terms of his post-release community supervision following an arrest on Mountain Ranch Road.
