The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

4:09 a.m., domestic violence — A woman on Upper Sunset Drive believed a man was coming at her and trying to steal her car.

10:20 a.m., lost, found property — A suitcase was located inside the hallway of a South Stewart Street business building.

10:51 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man on North Washington Street was seen attempting to try the handles on vehicles.

2:56 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man on Woods Creek Drive was believed to have tried breaking into an occupied RV parked near a baseball field.

7:02 p.m., traffic accidents — A vehicle drove into a creek near Fairview Lane.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

1:32 p.m., Big Oak Flat — An ambulance was requested on Highway 120 just inside of the Yosemite National Park Entrance for a vehicle rollover.

2:30 p.m., Jamestown — A person continually went onto a Chicken Ranch Road property and said an owner’s dog was “better off dead.”

3:18 p.m., Sonora — A Scenic Heights Court resident said her mother did not have power because the landlord did not pay the bill and she was staying in a freezing cold house.

4:01 p.m., Sonora — A person threatened to shoot a dog on Wildcat Ridge Road because the dog was barking.

10:50 p.m., Sonora — People did donuts in the snow in their vehicle on Karen Court.

1:47 p.m., Valley Springs — Collectable coins were stolen from a California Street property.

7:50 p.m., San Andreas — A person stole statues and a decorative plow from a West Saint Charles Street backyard.

8:47 p.m., Valley Springs — A woman walking in the area of McAtee Street seemed to be under the influence of something.
