The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:29 a.m., theft — A person on Fairview Lane believed their medication had been stolen, but when the victim was contacted they were characterized as uncooperative.

1:29 p.m., any civil problem — A decoration was stolen from the wall of a West Jackson Street drop-in center, but it was determined that the person had taken back an item they had donated.

4:09 p.m., hazardous situation — A water-based latex paint spilled into a creek near South Shepherd Street and turned the water a milky color.
