The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

SUNDAY

10:08 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A welcome mat and a door sign were stolen from a Greenley Road apartment.

11:36 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man came into a North Washington Street business on multiple occasions and said strange things.

6:37 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A man refused to pay for his food at a South Washington Street business.

10:36 p.m., fire call — A person was seen behind a Sanguinetti Road business with a warming fire.

10:51 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman was seen running in circles behind a South Washington Street business asking for help.

MONDAY

11:06 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A vehicle was scratched on Delnero Drive.

12:23 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An officer checked in on a Mono Way burn pile and confirmed that the person had a valid permit.

3:22 p.m., assault — A woman said another woman attempted to run her over in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot.

3:31 p.m., warrant arrests — A person at a South Washington Street business received an anonymous report that a customer had felony warrants.

9:31 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person outside of a South Washington Street business said transients started a fire in a creek, and when the person asked them to leave because of the smoke, they refused. An officer was unable to locate the suspects, the source of the fire, and did not see any smoke.

12:19 p.m., Jamestown — Jenny Lee Ritter, 34, of the 8200 block of Jantzen Road, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and additional misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia after an arrest on Chicken Ranch Road.

7:52 p.m., Jamestown — Ricky Lynn Henderson, 28, of the 200 block of Snell Street, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49.
