The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:33 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Two men and a woman were involved in an argument outside of a bank on Mono Way.

1:18 p.m., theft — A man under the age of 20 attempted to steal an item from a Sanguinetti Road store and then left.

3:11 p.m., obstructing justice/resist officer — A man kicked a pay phone on South Washington Street and then yelled at traffic.

10:48 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman said she was having problems with the workers at a Stockton Road hotel because the workers were stealing things from her room.

11:58 p.m., alarm — An audible alarm activated from motion inside of a South Washington Street store.

SATURDAY

4:27 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A large and intoxicated man came into a Morning Star Drive house and laid down on a mattress that the caller’s nephew was sleeping on, causing the nephew to yell at the drunk man.

4:59 a.m., theft — Minors stole a bottle of wine from a Sanguinetti Road store and fled.

1:31 p.m., animal complaints — Two dogs named Chopper and Bandit were at large in the area of Shaws Flat Road.

6:12 p.m., theft — A man opened packages and ate food at a Stockton Road store.

10:00 p.m., animal complaints — A person said he saw a bear cub go into the garage of a house on East Lyons Street and East Bald Mountain Road, and later an adult bear was located in the area.

SUNDAY

12:55 a.m., miscellaneous codes — A person with an open container on South Washington Street that was part of a wedding party was told to empty out the container.

9:06 a.m., theft — A person on South Stewart Street said items set outside for a yard sale were stolen sometime overnight.

12:57 p.m., theft — A person on South Stewart Street said he believed his air compressor was stolen out of the back of his work truck overnight.

7:53 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — One man yelled and screamed and another man kicked objects at a North Washington Street park.

9:41 p.m., traffic accidents — A person on Greenley Road said someone backed into her red Mini-Cooper sometime in the morning.

FRIDAY

12:23 p.m., Columbia — A person on Marble Quarry Road wanted to report her son missing because she last saw him two weeks ago and he was homeless.

4:09 p.m., Jamestown — A person on Vista Drive said her neighbor came to her house and threatened her by saying, “you better watch your back, I know people.”

9:14 p.m., Sonora — Several vehicles were in a Mono Way parking lot doing donuts and blasting music.

11:14 p.m., Jamestown — A person at a Willow Street property reported a large fight with men and women.

SATURDAY

7:03 a.m., Sonora — A vehicle in a field between Highway 108 and Argyle Road appeared to have rolled down and wrecked into a tree.

11:33 a.m., Twain Harte — A rabid skunk was under the deck of a South Fork Road resident after attacking the resident’s dog and grabbing the man’s shoe.

12:27 p.m., Jamestown — A person on Ninth Street said a person was letting off fireworks and shooting a .22 in a field.

7:07 p.m., Jamestown — A person on Windmill Lane complained of neck pain, but denied medical service, after a chair, a table and a bbq fell on top of him drunk.

9:11 p.m., Jamestown — A Lone Bend Road resident said four people wearing glasses were in the tree outside of her house.

6:24 a.m., Sonora — A cow was reported in the road in the area of Highway 49 and Blackberry Pond Lane.

2:50 p.m., Sonora — A person on Tuolumne Road said a rock was thrown and broke her window.

4:07 p.m., Jamestown — A person was lying on the side of Highway 108 with a sign that said “Sonora Hospital.”

8:58 p.m., Twain Harte — A Lark Drive resident said an alarm was going off and there was water on her floor.

11:59 p.m., Tuolumne — A person on Ponderosa Way said they were housesitting and they heard something on the side of the house but were too afraid to investigate.

10:41 p.m., Sonora — Michael Todd Junqueiro, 37, of the 500 block of Northwood Street, Escalon, was booked following an arrest on Highway 108.

1:54 a.m., Sonora — Makalaya Sue Raney Thompson, 28, of the 23800 block of Kewin Mill Road, was booked following an arrest on Columbia Way.

4:47 p.m., Sonora — Juliet Quynhchi Tran, 31, of the 13000 block of Beckwith Road, Sonora, was booked following an arrest on Highway 108.

1:28 a.m., Sonora — Garin Likokeola Pinder, 33, of the 300 block of Hope Lane, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and illegal exhibition of speed following an arrest on Hope Lane.

12:57 p.m., Sonora — Mykel Blake Oliver, 33, of the 900 block of Chardonnay Court, Murphys, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and additional misdemeanor charges driving while license was suspended for DUI following an arrest on the 100 block of Mono Way.
