The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

12:20 p.m., traffic accidents — A person on South Washington Street said their car was hit hard from behind at a stop light and the driver did not stop.

12:43 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man ran around outside of a library on Greenley Road yelling obscenities and talking about killing someone.

2:23 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A Maple Street resident said a man on a bicycle was riding around her neighborhood, but mostly near her residence.

4:06 p.m., fraudulent activities — A man was arrested after he dropped off a suspicious prescription at a Stockton Road pharmacy and the doctor said his pad was stolen two to three weeks ago.

5:12 p.m., threat — A male and female juvenile walked into a Stockton Road store and stole a bottle of alcohol, and their identities could not be immediately determined by surveillance footage.

10:45 p.m., assault — A man had his hands around another man’s neck behind a South Washington Street bar and both declined to press charges.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

6:14 a.m., Valley Springs — A person with a shopping cart was asleep outside of a Highway 26 store.

9:35 a.m., San Andreas — A break in was reported at a mobile business on Main Street.

12:16 p.m., San Andreas — A theft was reported on George Reed Drive.

6:55 p.m., Valley Springs — A fight was reported on Mittelman Court, but when they were contacted they said they were only wrestling.

7:44 p.m., Valley Springs — Two people walked around after getting out of a car parked at the gate of a Brooks Lane property.

9:02 p.m., Copperopolis — A person was yelling in the middle of field on South Horseshoe Drive.
