The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

8:52 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A dispenser for dog-waste bags was damaged at North Washington and East Dodge streets.

9:16 a.m., trespass/loiter — A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing at a store on Sanguinetti Road.

1:40 p.m., fraudulent activities — A woman went to the police station to report she was a victim of credit card fraud.

2 p.m., unclassified — Someone said there has been an increase in items being dumped illegally near the Tuolumne Utilities District plant on Southgate Drive and requested extra patrol.

4:01 p.m., vandalism, property damage — A woman on Truckenmiller Road said someone tried to vandalize her car, and she knew “exactly who it was.”

4:13 p.m., theft — A man said a juvenile male and juvenile female stole items from a store on South Washington Street.

5:14 p.m., vehicle theft — A car that was reported stolen in Oakland on Aug. 21 was found on Yaney Avenue after someone said it had been there for four days.

10:35 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman said she heard two possible gunshots between Pesce Way and Shaws Flat Road. An officer checked the area but was unable to locate.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

8:32 a.m., Jamestown — A person on Stent Cut Off Road said 15 brown cows were on their property.

9:15 a.m., Tuolumne — A man on Deerhaven Drive said gas was siphoned from his vehicle three times last week.

9:48 a.m., Jamestown — An abandoned vehicle was parked in a driveway on Sixth Avenue.

9:57 a.m., East Sonora — Three businesses were vandalized at Mono Way and Tuolumne Road. A garden hose was taken and thrown in a tree, bolts were cut from a dumpster and trash was spread all over.

11 a.m., Jamestown — Someone at a business on Main Street found what looked like a homemade knife and requested a deputy pick it up.

11:31 a.m., East Sonora — A man said he and his wife were both assaulted on Sunday at a restaurant on Mono Way.

12:12 p.m., Jamestown — A woman appeared to be having a conversation with herself and was pacing back and forth at Chicken Ranch Road and Highway 108.

12:23 p.m., Columbia — A person said they had a video of a man attempting to break into a green van parked at a business on Technology Drive.

1:24 p.m., Sonora area — A person on Crystal Falls Drive wanted to speak to a deputy about a man they suspect is a drug dealer who rides around the neighborhood on a motorcycle.

3:27 p.m., Columbia — A man said that “tweakers” in a gray Dodge pickup were putting a trailer on a piece of property he believed they do not own.

3:52 p.m., Sonora area — A person said a man in a dark blue pickup did a drug deal on Whitto Mine Road.

6:58 p.m., East Sonora — A man said a dog bit his son in the face at a mobile home park on Mono Way.

11:39 p.m., Columbia — A person said approximately four “tweakers” were yelling and screaming at each other on Big Hill Road.

1:04 a.m., Tuolumne — Joseph Eric McIntyre, 52, of the 500 block of Rock Forge Loop, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale, transport/sell a controlled substance, and misdemeanor charges of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, following an arrest on North Tuolumne Road south of East Avenue.

1:04 a.m., Tuolumne — Shannon Ladell Yielding, 27, of the 21700 block of South Fork Road, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sale, transport/sell a controlled substance, and misdemeanor charges of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, following an arrest on North Tuolumne Road south of East Avenue.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

5:51 a.m., Avery — Items were stolen from a vehicle on Highway 4.

8:20 a.m., Arnold — A business was burglarized on Highway 4.

12:07 p.m., Valley Springs — A woman was walking down Highway 26 yelling.
