The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
10:05 a.m., theft — A person at a Sanguinetti Road department store said he left his backpack inside a cart while he went to retrieve an item, but when he returned employees were putting the items from his cart back and his backpack was missing.
2:07 p.m., controlled substances — A baggie of suspected drugs were found on a bus on South Washington Street.
4:07 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — A student went to a school office on North Washington Street and said two male students were in a fight near an auditorium.
4:47 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man who appeared to be on drugs threw rocks at vehicles on Sanguinetti Road.
7:09 p.m., theft — A man came into a Sanguinetti Road store, grabbed at least three cans of bear spray and fled the store in a vehicle.
10:22 p.m., towed vehicle — A vehicle with no left tire, windshield or front license plate was parked behind a Sanguinetti Road store in a fire lane.
12:26 a.m., driving under the influence — A driver on East Lyons Street was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after she drove over a curb without her lights on.
5:02 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on Greenley Road said he and his brother were followed home by two to six people and one of them may have a firearm.
8:07 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A Roble Drive resident said someone left a pornographic video in her mailbox.
11:04 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman who appeared to be under the influence of a drug was sitting on the stairs of a Stockton Road grocery store and waving her arms.
5:54 p.m., theft — A South Barretta Street resident said his girlfriend’s daughter stole an ashtray out of his vehicle.
12:06 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A vehicle coasted down a hill on Theall and parked in a driveway before someone yelled at the occupants, then the vehicle moved to the end of the street and the occupants left the vehicle.
2:05 p.m., warrant arrests — A man was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant after a drive shaft was stolen from Sanguinetti Road business and later located behind a grocery store.
2:56 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man walking on East Lyons Street said he believed several people in 10 to 12 vehicles were circling around the area and following him.
5:20 p.m., animal complaints — A person was bitten by a dog at a Stockton Road homeless camp.
5:33 p.m., public intoxication — A person on North Washington Street believed a man was drinking alcohol at an unknown location in the downtown area and that he was preparing to drive soon.
12:59 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Someone was on the ground in front of a South Washington Street bar being kicked.
6:20 a.m., trespass/loiter — A person slept in a sleeping bag out front of a South Shepherd Street building.
9:31 a.m., controlled substances — A man shot up drugs in the bathroom at a Greenley Road bathroom.
3:13 p.m., fraudulent activities — A man passed a fraudulent $100 bill at a Restano Way liquor store.
3:37 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man agreed to leave a South Washington Street bookstore after a person heard what sounded like the person throwing books down stairs.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
12:07 a.m., Railroad Flat — A person on Blossom Lane said someone ran over his girlfriend’s foot and smashed a window on his car.
12:18 a.m., Valley Springs — A vehicle pulled up to South Petersburg road and sat there with its lights off.
9:53 a.m., Copperopolis — A security gate on Chuckwagon Drive was damaged.
11:16 a.m., Murphys — A location on Camp Nine Road was damaged possibly by target shooters in the area.
1:45 p.m., Burons — A person on Wade Lane said their phone got wet on a boat and they accidentally auto-dialed 911.

4:48 a.m., San Andreas — Joe Louis Baker, 29, of the first block of Garden Drive, Atwater, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence with prior convictions and misdemeanor charges driving under the influence and specific traffic offense following an arrest on an unknown street.
10:30 a.m., San Andreas — Willian Allen Wilkerson Jr., 48, of the 6800 block of Fricot City Road, was booked on suspicion of rape by force or fear following an arrest at his home.
