The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

1:04 a.m., public intoxication — A man laid on the ground in front of a South Washington Street business.

10:44 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man was asleep inside his vehicle in the middle of a South Forest Road parking lot.

12:52 p.m., animal complaint — A woman on Woods Creek Drive said there was a large white rat in her backyard, possibly someone’s pet.

1:04 p.m., vehicle theft — A man jumped into a vehicle and drove off while the owner of the vehicle was in a business on West Stockton Street.

3:24 p.m., trespass/loiter — Tenants on South Stewart Street who were evicted refused to leave.

7:28 p.m., theft — A man stole a pair of Adidas high top shoes from a Sanguinetti Road business.

11:42 p.m., lost, found property — A nine-round magazine, loaded with two hollow point rounds was found by the front door of a Sanguinetti Road business.

THURSDAY

12:10 a.m., Sonora — On a 911 hang up call back, a person said his mom was drunk at a bar so he took his mom’s car and moved it so she wouldn't get a DUI because he saw cops circling. He then lost the keys and was afraid it would be reported stolen.

12:15 a.m., Sonora — A man was in a light-colored Cadillac playing loud music in an overflow gravel parking lot in front of a Mono Way business.

7:02 a.m., Soulsbyville — An injured, shaking and muddy dog with bleeding back legs was standing in a Willow Springs Drive driveway and the caller couldn't get close enough to it to see if it had tags.

7:38 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on Ninth Avenue said her windows were broken out of her vehicle and was told she couldn’t go in her house.

8:43 a.m., Sonora — A man on McKamey Court says two boat motors were taken from his boat and he has video of who did it.

9:17 a.m., Groveland — A woman on Chaffee Circle says her neighbor keeps trespassing on her property.

10:17 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman says she lost her diamond bracelet at a Tuolumne Road North business and it hasn’t been turned in.

10:34 a.m., Tuolumne — A man at a business on Tuolumne Road North said he was notified by his bank of possible credit card fraud. He used his card for $19 of gas and then there was a fraudulent charge for $300.

11:00 a.m., Sonora — A man mowing on Tuolumne Road caused a small fire and put it out but requested the fire department verify it was out.

11:16 a.m., Soulsbyville — A caller on Monte Grande Drive says their neighbors garage might be on fire.

11:21 a.m., Sonora — A residence on Oak Ridge was broken into.

11:52 a.m, Columbia — A man and woman in a two-door car have set up camp in the cemetery of a church on Church Lane.

12:39 p.m., Sonora — Someone at a Mono Way business tried to cash a check using her ID on a fake check.

1:07 p.m., Groveland — On a 911 call back to an Elder Lane residence, a woman said her neighbor was harassing her and threatening her.

1:24 p.m., Columbia — Cremated remains, a necklace and a watch were stolen from a Woods Creek Way residence.

1:41 p.m., Sonora — A manufactured home being towed on Longeway Road took out some power lines and cables.

1:43 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on Margaret Drive says men driving a black truck wanted to enter her house to get to her backyard to trim trees but when asked for a business card they left the area.

2:47 p.m., Sonora — A woman at a Mono Way business says she left her purse in a shopping cart for one minute and when she went back to retrieve it $240 was missing.

2:59 p.m., Sonora — A Lambert Lake Road resident says $15,000 was taken from her Merrill Lynch account on Aug. 13 and someone put a hold on her mail delivery.

3:07 p.m., Sonora — A woman on Oxbow Lane says someone shot her cat and the cat is now in surgery.

3:14 p.m., Sonora — A black BMW with a broken back window was abandoned in a yard on Crystal Falls Drive about three or four days ago.

3:21 p.m., Sonora — A calf was in the intersection of Mono Way and Highway 108.

3:25 p.m., Sonora — A woman called from a Standard Road School asking for advice on what to do about her daughter who was refusing to go to school or comply with anything to do with independent study.

3:28 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman on Willow Springs Drive says her husband was supposed to be home at 7 or 8 a.m. but didn’t show and while she was out picking up their child she saw his truck down in the creekside and her husband was laying in the bed of the truck obviously intoxicated and unaware that he wrecked.

4:16 p.m., Sonora — A woman on Campo Seco Road says some dude in dirty clothes and wearing headphones was in her yard claiming to be working with PG&E.

6:33 p.m., Soulsbyville — Someone on Willow Springs says they heard a little girl screaming for a good while.

7:18 p.m., Sonora — On a 911 hang-up call back, a person said a Mono Way business’ kitchen was on fire.

8:15 p.m., Sonora — A man stole beer from a Mono Way business.

8:35 p.m., Columbia — A woman on State Street says she is in her back bedroom and the door has been plastered over.

9:43 p.m., Columbia — People played loud music in the parking lot of a school on Parrotts Ferry Road.

10:33 p.m., Groveland — A person on Merrell Road says they could hear a man faintly calling for help for about six minutes.

11:10 p.m., Sonora — A woman on Rimrock Road said her roommate is going “crazy” threatening her, pushing her, taking $20 from her and threatening to cook her cat.

3:45 p.m., Soulsbyville — Severin Lynn Thomas, 41, of the 20000 block of WIllow Springs Drive was booked after an arrest at his residence.

1:01 p.m., Sonora — Storm Silvercloud Corral, 39, of the 22000 block of Sharon Drive, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of violation of post release community supervision after an arrest at her home.

9:21 a.m., Arnold — There was a suspicious person on Fir Drive.

10:32 a.m., San Andreas — Someone trespassed on West Saint Charles Street.

12:47 p.m., Vallecito — Identity theft occurred on Vallecito Bypass Road.

7:31 p.m., San Andreas — There was a disturbance on Burns Road.

10:25 p.m., Arnold — A suspicious vehicle was parked on Highway 4.
