Sonora Police Department reported the following:

2:51 p.m., trespass/loiter — Someone used a store’s pallets to make a resident behind the business on West Stockton Street.

10:58 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man without a shirt and a woman walking a dog appeared to be under the influence bothered people on a sidewalk near a school on North Washington Street.

11:52 a.m., threats — A student left a school on North Washington Street after threatening another student.

9:17 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man carried a handgun near a school on North Washington Street but officers were unable to find him.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

4:09 a.m., Jamestown — A man inside a running vehicle slept at a gas station on Highway 108.

8:15 a.m., Mi Wuk Village — A dog escaped a rope leash and bit a man on Kome Road.

10:10 a.m., Jamestown — Authorities called a man on Old Melones Dam Road and asked if he knew why his trailer was in Merced.

2:19 p.m., Sonora — A woman with sores on her face bathed in a bathroom at a store on Soulsbyville Road and refused to leave. An employee said she seemed drunk or on drugs, but was gone when a deputy arrived.

4:11 p.m., Sonora — A man sharpened a knife on bumpers at a park on Standard Road, then swung a chain around the parking lot. Caller said they have been taking baths in the bathroom sink for a couple of weeks.

6:25 p.m., Twain Harte — Two men told a woman on Sierra Drive they were “self-appointed neighborhood watch.”

6:39 p.m., La Grange — Someone driving home on Penascal Road received a text that said he was an an assassin and he was assigned to “terminate” them.

8:34 p.m., Columbia — Someone on Gold Springs Drive was scammed out of $6,000.

9:37 p.m., Tuolumne — Six juveniles drank on the sixth level of a parking garage on Tuolumne Road.

4:30 a.m., Jamestown — Christian Robert Klein, 27, transient, was booked on suspicion of possession of narcotic controlled substance for sale, transporting/selling narcotic controlled substance after an arrest on Highway 108.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

1:30 a.m., Valley Springs — Items were taken from a vehicle while the driver was making a delivery on Saint Andrews Road.

11:26 a.m., Campo Seco — People fought over an easement on Campo Seco Road.

1:28 p.m., Copperopolis — Packages were delivered to someone who no longer live on Bridlewood Lane.

2:01 p.m., Murphys — A break-in occurred on Main Street.
