The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

1:00 a.m., animal complaints — Two dogs were in a Snell Street yard and one of them barked constantly.

9:35 a.m., theft — A person on Highland Drive said approximately three quarters of a tank of gasoline was siphoned out of his vehicle during the night.

10:30 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Two men and a woman entered into a men’s restroom at a Woods Creek Drive park together.

6:54 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man sat in the middle of a parking space on Woods Creek Drive and said the driver would have to run him over if he wanted to park there.

8:53 p.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — Three dark colored vehicles on Woods Creek Drive played loud music.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

1:28 a.m., Sonora — A couple argued at a Big Hill Road mobile home park because a man took a six-month-old baby into a forest.

9:59 a.m., Sonora — Three men in their 20s threw trash out the window of their vehicle and watched people on Peaceful Valley Road.

11:58 a.m., Sonora — Kids walked around Stockton Road and shot a rapid fire BB gun at a hot dog vendor and customers of a gas station.

5:34 p.m., Pinecrest — A person at a camp on Dodge Ridge Road sustained a laceration to the leg all the way down to the bone.

11:31 p.m., Sonora — A person on Lakeside Drive was eating dinner and heard something kick outside of her house.

THURSDAY

1:03 a.m., Jamestown — A Preston Lane resident said kids smoked marijuana in the hallway outside of his house and refused to leave.

5:49 a.m., Jamestown — A driver on Highway 108 and Wigwam Road hit a “big” mountain lion in a black Toyota Camry then moved it to the side of the road.

10:35 a.m., La Grange — A hand grenade was found in the front flower bed of a Arbolada Drive residence with a pin in it.

7:14 p.m., Big Oak Flat — A person on Highway 120 believed they saw someone shoot off a firecracker.

9:40 p.m., Columbia — An unknown vehicle spun out in the driveway of a State Street home and almost hit one of the neighbors.

6:51 p.m., Soulsbyville — Jeffrey Riley Johnson, 30, of the 13300 block of Terrace Drive, Sonora, was booked following an arrest on Soulsbyville Road.

11:00 p.m., Twain Harte — Curtis Allan Schoon, 30, of the 23800 block of Stable Road, was booked following an arrest on Hunts Road.

2:36 a.m., Sonora — Paul Thomas Moran Jr., 68, of the 1700 block of A Street, Sparks, Nevada, was booked following an arrest on Stockton Road.

6:11 p.m., Sonora — Tamara Anne Guzman, 59, of the 18300 block of Wards Ferry Road, was booked following an arrest on Mono Way.

8:34 p.m., La Grange — Brett Parker Davidson, 62, of the 9900 block of Piney Creek Road, Coulterville, was booked following an arrest on Bonds Flat Road.

10:11 p.m., La Grange — Steven Ray Davis, 59, of the 3000 block of Granite Springs Road, Coulterville, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, transporting a controlled substance, forging or altering vehicle registration and misdemeanor charges possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license following an arrest on Arbolada Drive.

THURSDAY

11:38 p.m., Tuolumne — Chance Jack Bailey, 22, of the 20000 block of Hani Drive, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer with great bodily injury likely and evading a peace officer with a wanton disregard for safety following an arrest at his home.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

12:01 a.m., Vallecito — A person on Red Hill Access Road was cited on an out of county warrant.

11:36 a.m., Valley Springs — Items were taken from a Mittleman Court residence.

8:30 p.m., San Andreas — A citation was issued a driver on Robert Avenue during a traffic stop.

11:22 p.m., Arnold — A verbal disturbance was reported on Longman Lane.

1:50 p.m., Arnold — Timothy David Bower, 47, of the 3200 block of Menominee Court, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury and assault with a deadly weapon following an arrest at his home.
