The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

10:26 a.m., vandalism, property damage — A car charging port on Mono Way was damaged sometime during the night.

11:22 a.m., suspicious circumstances — People unloaded property from a vehicle parked on Stockton Road and then approached passersby for money.

1:16 p.m., lost, found property — Several articles of mail were found on a “homeless trail” near a Mono Way business.

7:36 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man scared customers at a Mono Way grocery store after he removed his shirt and put it inside a milk fridge.

9:10 p.m., driving under the influence — A gray Tesla was speeding up and slowing down on South Washington Street and the driver was arrested for driving under the influence.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

MONDAY

6:18 a.m., Sonora — A person on Crestview Drive believed a racoon was acting strange because it was daytime and it was digging.

7:37 a.m., Sonora — A person saw a person peeking out from behind a black sheet hanging in the window of a black Jeep Renegade with Nevada plates parked in a Mono Way parking lot.

9:52 a.m., Sonora — A man in red shorts with a black shirt wrapped around his ran up and down Sanguinetti Road.

9:15 p.m., Pinecrest — A man threw objects and assaulted people at an amphitheater on Lakeshore Avenue.

11:47 p.m., Sonora — A person on Buttercup Lake said someone tried to break into his house and his dog chased the person off the property.

1:10 p.m., San Andreas — A person on West Saint Charle Street was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure
