The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

7:29 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on North Arbona Circle said a man carrying his shoes and who appeared to be exhausted attempted to gain entry into her house.

9:10 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A person attempted to purchase a large amount of cigarettes at a South Washington Street gas station.

9:50 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A suspicious person rode back and forth by vehicles and people using an ATM machine on Mono Way.

10:28 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A disabled resident on Dragoon Circle said someone put a “huge piles of leaves” on his property and he did not know who put them there.

12:07 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A person on Lytton Lane saw a person stripping off their clothes at a cemetery on Lytton Street.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

1:04 a.m., Pinecrest — A man was found on a Dodge Ridge property who admitted to be eating food on the property and being high on drugs.

6:03 a.m., Sonora — A person at a Mono Way trailer home park said his neighbor was screaming and yelling and broke a window during the night.

12:03 p.m., Twain Harte — A person said a man with a bandana over his face was running on Highway 108, and when contacted by an officer, he said he was running to lose weight.

2:06 p.m., Jamestown — Four juveniles jumped from a bridge on O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

10:50 p.m., Sonora — A person on Highway 49 said a man lit fuel and threw it at his truck before attempting to attack him with a wrench.

WEDNESDAY

7:59 a.m., Sonora — A person on Red Chestnut Lane said there were people in her house “just sitting there and not talking.”

3:17 p.m., Columbia — A person on Green Street said they received a text message they were afraid to open.

3:47 p.m., Mi Wuk Village — A Middle Camp Sugarpine Road resident said her neighbor was recording her 11-year-old daughter while she danced in the driveway.

6:39 p.m., Groveland — A person was walking on Cherry Lake Road and saw a man who looked unsteady and distressed, but the person refused any water.

10:17 p.m., Groveland — A Ferretti Road resident screamed and yelled that people were after him and that he was tired.
