The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

4:50 p.m., fraudulent activities — A person said they found multiple counterfeit $100 bills underneath their outdoor chair cushions while they were cleaning them.

9:41 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Two trucks drove on Symons Lane at a rapid speed and then parked at the end of the street.

SATURDAY

9:20 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman was lying down halfway under a vehicle parked on Shaws Flat Road with her head in the bushes.

12:52 p.m., hazardous situation — A transit driver said there was a large amount of trash dumped on the side of the road near the entrance to the homeless camps, but only a few small pieces of trash were found.

5:48 p.m., lost, found property — A person on South Stewart Street said a small fire extinguisher was left by a telephone pole.

9:44 p.m., theft — A man stole a hanging flower pot with roses from the front of a Mono Way store and left in a waiting vehicle.

11:07 p.m., trespass/loiter — A man was asked to leave a South Washington Street hotel after following customers to their rooms.

12:53 a.m., public peace, fight, disorderly conduct — At least 10 people fought on Linoberg Street.

3:08 a.m., suspicious circumstances — An unknown man tapped on a Knowles Hill Road resident’s window and asked for a ride before walking beside houses with a flashlight.

10:44 a.m., theft — A McCormick Drive resident said someone went through the glove box of his vehicle and stole a pair of sunglasses.

6:43 p.m., animal complaints — A person said a small dog was in the back of a vehicle parked at a Stockton Road shopping center with its window only slightly cracked.

10:15 p.m., theft — A man stole a pair of shorts from a Mono Way store and then put them on.
